You know, for weeks I haven’t listened to any of his songs (changed the station when it comes on the radio), I’ve yet to watch the Dive video (although the clip I saw was of him and some scantily clad woman. Anyone wanting to break into the business should be a video director, because they clearly need new concepts), I even unfollowed him on Twitter and FB. I’m not surprised by this move because of the backlash he’s gotten. The stans are planted firm, but his other fans are drifting away, or disappointed to say the least. I expect him to lie, because he tends to contradict himself from interview to interview. Clearly damage control, but yes, I’ll watch it. Typically, Oprah gets to the nitty gritty. Even though Usher’s a favorite of hers, I expect her to "take that dive."

I personally feel that the court case is what it is and I think there is a reason why this one ended the way it did. There needs to be an understanding that death comes when it wants to, and trust I feel for Tameka with the loss of her son, but nobody woke up and thought that that young man was going to die that day. It happened. When you finally come to that understanding then there will be no need for anyone to be so one-sided. Because I honestly feel that people on here are rooting for Tameka because of that tragedy.
I sort of agree with your analogy because Usher stood against his entire fan base for Tameka – declared his love openly for her – went against his Mom for her. So I don’t think this is vindictive either. Tameka had a lot to do with where they are today because she appears to be the insecure and vindictive one, as she was always fighting his fans. It would have served her better just to stay out of the limelight but she just couldn’t – always appearing to have to prove a point. What’s the point she needed to prove when she had the man (and his money).
Usher is an extreme person, either he loves you or he hates you and there is no in between. Perhaps that was what was in the psychological report that the media was not permitted to hear in the courtroom, they were literally made to leave with the court appointed psychiatrist already made it clear that after interviewing both of them Tameka was the better parent and the children should have remained with her. That’s another point for appeal of this decision that Temeka has.
Any man who calls up a woman whose just buried her older child and says "how does it feel to lose your children" (in reference to their children), and "one day I’ll tell my boys they have a mother" something is SERIOUSLY and mentally wrong with that man.
Also, I read elsewhere that Usher, in the past, actually offered Temeka money if she would give him the kids, so it appears Usher has an obsession with the children and has no intention to share them with their mother.
I sure hope and pray the appeals court overturns this verdict not only for the children and Tameka’s sake but for black women in America whose motherhood is being seriously disrespected in this country, so much so I’d rather go to a sperm bank (we can even order sperm fedex from foreign countries), rather than have kids with man in America.

If I were to judge by this blog and the comments on some of the others, I’d say he’s certainly lost fans. Enough to make an impact is yet to be seen, until his next concert or album.
Most of the artists are bigger overseas for some reason. David Hasselhoff is the SHYT in Germany, and Kelly Rowland is revered in Europe. Go figure lol. The court psychiatrist sided with Temeka and doesn’t thinks he has mental issues at all. On the other hand, the court psychiatrist DID NOT SIDE with Usher and his psych evaluation was so bad that his attorneys got the judge to remove the media from the courtroom when the court psychiatrist was going to testify about Usher’s mental state. Yet the judge saw fit to give primary custody to Usher? If that’s not evidence of a bought verdict and corruption than nothing is.

I think you may have missed the point. Usher took her to court for FULL SOLE CUSTODY but was Awarded Primary. Had he received what he was after then yes the kids would be gone. For me I dont like the intent behind it or the way he paid people to testify against Tameka as a bad mother but really didnt have anyone to speak on him being a good father either. So he was just out to get her and make her pay. He never took a drug test although it was requested twice but Tameka did. It appears that Tameka jumped through every hoop that was presented to her and he didnt because clearly he didnt feel he had to…
@ Britt: The main issue that people have is that he initiated the court proceedings for no apparent reason. We applaud men who seek custody for VALID reasons. Usher not liking Tameka or getting tired of dealing with her is NOT a valid reason to seek custody. He worked overtime to try and prove her to be a bad mother, but she apparently did fine on the psych exams, etc. that the court ordered her to take. The only smoking gun Usher had was Tameka’s friend that completely turned on her after traveling around on her dime for years.
One person’s or two people’s negative testimony does not make a person a bad mother.
Actually according to the court decision Temeka CAN NOT see her children anytime she wants. According to the decision she can only see her children the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekend, so she can only see them 6 days out of 6 weeks (not including ALLOWING her to have dinner for a few hours on Wednesday, the week she doesn’t have the kids for the weekend).
Usher admitted in court that he primarily lives in New York City and not Atlanta (GA law says primary parent must live in the state 50% of the time but Usher doesn’t so how did the judge get around that?).
So if Usher is not in Atlanta (and with the way he treats Temeka he’ll be sure not to be), Temeka can IF she want to see her kids on her visitation day must fly to wherever Usher and the kids are to get her day of visitation, AND there are no make ups, so if she can’t fly to where they are, too bad, she doesn’t get to see them.
Also, the legal joint custody ruling is a sham because on another page the judge took all the provisions listed as legal joint custody away from Temeka by stating Usher has complete authority, makes ALL the decisions for the children, doesn’t have to consult Temeka about anything, and in some instances visitation or no, he is allowed to determine if she can see her children, so even if she flew to where he was to see her kids, he could under some circumstances say "no, you can’t see your children."
Temeka wasn’t found neglectful or abusive, yet she’s been reduced to a criminal in her kid’s lives.
I pray this corrupt and crooked ruling is overturned on appeal and soon.
Pray to god for Temeka Foster and her sons to be permanently reunited.
It is genuinely a sigh of relief to know that others (especially women) understand how VERY dangerous this ruling is. I am NOT a friend or fan of Tameka, I’m also a stepmother (my daughter’s biological mother was diagnosed as bipolar), but I REFUSED to consider a custody arrangement that restricted her access to "HER" child. Today, I am divorced from her father, but we are ALL very much still family and very close. It was in my stepdaughter’s best interest to make sure that EVERYONE loved AND respected her mother, despite her mental disease.

I think (like Tameka said in a prev mag interviw) he filed because she wouldn’t agree to let the kids go with him on tour but yet she was always away from them leaving them with nannies while she was in clubs, parties, events whatever. We know that from following her on twitter bcuz she always post pics of her where abouts. Ofcourse since the public battle she’s been a lot more low key. Both parties are wrong to me. Why is his traveling not good 4 his boys when she and her other boys use to be with him all the time? Why can she rant about it all day on twitter and in mags, but he can’t do a interview? On his part I do think he coulda did more to try to fix it in private. Who knows maybe he did. They both just need to stop! He shouldn’t do interviews and she should stop responding to twitter strangers. It’s all crazy! They both need professional help.

I follow Usher on Twitter, Instagram and FB and from what I can tell he seems to be deeply in love or have found the person he want to share his life with. And after have posting the family pictures of him and Grace together I assume it is her since he has been with her for 2-3 years now. My guess is that he will tell the world about Grace in the Oprah interview. Maybe that is why the picture was posted by his uncle in the first place.

Why all the dislike towards tameka and usher. They are still human and yes human make mistakes. Everyone has had their trails and tribulations so does usher and tameka. In my days they did not buy albums concerning the personality of the artist. But for what I’m reading here is the the other way around. Some of y’all act like they personally know you. Y’all weren’t living with them when they had problems so nobody knows the actual truth. From what I’ve seen is that tameka love those kids with all her heart and so does he. Who are we to say that she is a bad mother or he is bad father. I really think many fans have an issue with the age because they are young and feel slighted, because they are clearly not his type. I have not read/heard of one person that has a problem with Usher "fighting for his kids" but what the hell was he fighting for really…they had joint custody and his kids were never abused.He ALWAYS had final say with the kids but full custody was NOT warranted which is probably why he wasnt awarded that. You dont lay down with someone have TWO kids with them then decide that you no longer want to deal with them so you just take them to court to take the kids!! I dont know Usher and have never met Tameka but I do know of several people connected to them and this situation. None of the information that I have been told has been repeated by me out of respect. BUT I make it a point to not leave it up to blogs or the media to educate me on things going on. Court documents are not hard to get especially when you know the right people PLUS the court docs for this situation has been posted on the internet for a while now…I personally think it is very sad that we come from a society AND community where we judge someones character based on what we get from the media instead of taking the time to get the facts.
