Jermaine Dupri can rest a lil easier tonight since his bank just removed his Atlanta mansion from the auction block and it’s not the first time…

JD’s home was placed up for foreclosure auction earlier this week, right about the time he was spotted at the 12th Annual BMI Urban Awards alongside his pals Nick Cannon & Mariah Carey, after he allegedly failed to pay $193,000 in mortgage debt.
Fortunately for the SoSoDef music mogul, his home is safe… (this month).

According to TMZ. JD’s home was scheduled to be auctioned off on September 4, 2012 — and his bank claimed the rapper failed missed $193,404 in payments on his mortgage.
Dupri filed an emergency motion in response, asking the court to block the auction, claiming he only owed $89,901 … and he paid the bill in full by the time he filed the motion.
The house was yanked from the auction at the last minute.
Dupri’s lawyer, James Kane, tells TMZ, “There was no foreclosure sale of the property … We are presently working with the lender to reconcile our disagreement over the [mortgage amount due].
I’m not surprised at all that JD came up with all that dough! He probably had it all along but just doesn’t pay his bills.
I know times are hard… but when we’re hit over the head with photos of custom sneakers or photos of you poppin bottles and partying all over the country, it’s kinda hard to be empathetic in situations like these. But maybe that’s just me…

AGAIN? Damn JD! Listen, if you are struggling to keep it, you probably don’t need it. Let that mansion go and get yourself a smaller place. He was "living the life" when he was with Janet, private jets, luxurious vacations, fashion week all over the world etc, as soon as she left him he stopped paying his bills. Jermaine really has no business being broke. He is a writer and producer, that is where the money is made in the music business. This is pure irresponsibility on his part. Remember, before he and Janet started dating, he had a run in with the IRS. He clearly has no concept of being financially responsible on his own.

Even with out Janet he has made a lot of money. He was able to come up with the lump sum to save it. He need take a money management class, fire his accountant, who is probably a cousin or someone.
He need to stop sponsoring strippers, that’s what he needs to do lol. All that money he (and other celebs) wasts in those damn strip clubs. I’ve never seen a group of well-off men so content at being tricks.

Finally…..a blog I can agree with. @Atlien in right. He’s been partying and buying supid shit (custom cars/ custom shoes) and not keeping tabs on his bills. How old are you again?
