Understanding the "beef" between Karlie Redd and K Michelle is simply regarding a few underlying issues and the fact that K Michelle put Karlie Redd on blast by making claims that she is in her late 40’s and needs to stop lying to everyone, and give up focusing on starting a career at her age. K Michell mad a variety of claims throughout the season including that she helped Karlie Redd fill out an AARP Card. (LOL)! Anyone who knows you need to be within 2 years of the ripe old age of 50 in order to be accepted can have a quick laugh. This accusation sent Karlie into a whirlwind of emotions stating that K Michelle is nothing short of crazy. My speculation is that their fallout is based solely on K Michelle exposing her for the liar that she is, and in my opinion Karlie is a gold digger looking to take a ride on "anyone’s bus" able to get her a record deal. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her "riding Steebie J’s bus in the near future". On a live radio show over the last month when she was questioned regarding the AARP card she chuckles and responded by saying she was in her late 20’s. For those people saying she is simply trying to protect her daughter from the eye of the public and the vulture media who watches the show that by the way "she signed up for" is far from the truth. In fact as we have now come to find out Karlie’s daughter is a young lady in her late teens who recently graduated highschool and attends (Clark University). The reality that her biological father is a big time drug kingpin from Chicago serving a lengthy prison sentence more than likely has something to do with it. Karlie’s claims that she is in her late 20’s seems to be a miracle that she was able to have her daughter at the age of 10. In a business where image is everything, honesty is the best policy if she is 46 years old why not embrace it? There have been plenty of successful musicians that have had great lengthy careers not dependent on seeing a birth certificate in order to make it. It comes down to you either have it or you don’t and if you can produce records that people can relate to than you will succeed. Karlie promotes an image of a young woman who is on the up and up trying to start a RAP career and pave the way for other woman to follow their dreams. In reality since they are on a reality tv show it would probably be in Karlie’s best interest to just say she been trying to become a famous for her musical talent but her struggles getting into the business have been real, filled with short comings and a long road to where she finally has landed which is right around the same place she started off. Truth is that it’s more likely she will be a grandmother before a grammy winner anytime soon.
