The woman of the word has since moved on from her relationship with Thomas Weeks, and now she credits having “purpose and destiny” for filling a longtime void from other negative periods of her life.
I’m not embarrassed about my conversions, and that’s why I’m not insecure about being around people who have issues and struggles.
Remember when I asked the question of who would be next after Frank Ocean came out? Well apparently Bynum’s on the list now that she’s openly admits that she’s been involved with woman.

In a recent interview with an Atlanta radio station, Bynum reveals:
“I’ve done it all. I did the drugs. I’ve been with men. I’ve been with women. It’s not a line. It’s my life,” Bynum said.
“I took full responsibility in every area because every choice that I made, nobody put a gun to my head. These were my choices and I made these choices due to a lack of wisdom.”
She goes on to speak of the abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband, who has since remarried.
That abuse that I suffered was because I attracted after my own kind. That abuse was always sitting in me.
I had already abused myself mentally and emotionally for years trying to fill a void that only the power of purpose can fill.
When purpose has a place to fill that hole, you can have sex with 50,000 people, you can do drugs til the cows come home. But the void that you’re trying to fill is a void that’s been put there by the Creator, and it’s called purpose and destiny.
And until you accept that, you’re going to walk around with the living dead. (source)

In the church we believe in the power of God to deliver people and we believe homosexuality is a sin. She was sharing that in the past she has been with women, which is not that uncommon. She was simply testifyig about being delivered. This article is twisting her words. She also said that she’s done drugs before. Why aren’t there and breaking news articles stating "Bynum’s a Crackhead!"? The writer chose what they wanted to choose and twisted her words. Dleiverance is powerful and real. Whether you like Juanita Bynum or not. If you believe that someone can get free from drug addiction or eating addictions, then surely you must know that the Same God can free anyone from sexual sexual sins.
Judge not lest u be judged. EVERYONE has a past!!! We are to pray when we see a brother or sister in sin. I’ve always had a great deal of respect for Juanita and believe she hears from God. People, even King David sinned, had an affair, and killed and still God used him, its the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. Look at the Apostle Peter, he denied Christ, 3 times and God had mercy on him. Let him or her who is Without sin cast the first stone! Many of you seem to have no problem "crucifying" Ms Bynum, and not saying a word about her husband who beat her. She did the right thing filing for divorce, I too was married to a very abusive man for many years, til one day God got through to me and I finally realized no one deserves to be treated like this.
