I don’t think she’s still in love with him. I do think it’s possible to still grieve someone who hurt you so deeply. I think it’s possible to recall the good times with fondness and have them violently interrupted with the reality check that he was no good for her after he beat her like she stole something from him.

I like K’michelle and as she referenced in another interview, men do different things to different women, she seems over Memphitz..Hopefully he has changed if that is in fact what he did..I like him and Toya as a couple!
This is so sad. Bitter black women always want to believe the worst about a black man. Silly black men always want to naively believe a cute face. There are good and bad in every ethnicity and there are good black men out there. I’m sure if she could she would have gone the traditional route and trapped him up with a baby like the typical simple minded fatal attraction female.
I did not believe this story when she ranted it years ago and I do not believe it now. From a professional standpoint as someone that deals with domestic abuse victims everyday and helps women get TPO’s, K Michelle’s demeanor does not indicate abuse. It indicates a woman scorned. That and the fact that she came to a halt when many people in Memphis put her on blast about being at his family BBQ hours after the "alleged" attack with no bruising or anything. K Michelle needs to love herself more than she loves a man.
And for all you slow people, when record labels give an advance know, trust, and please believe they have to give an account for all of the money. The label wants to know where their money is going, how its spent, and how much they can expect returned on their investment. That’s with any company and they have AP/AR clerks, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier accountants and auditors companies know how, when, where, and by whom their money is being spent. K Michelle is tarnished in the industry as being a psycho female. Just tell the truth she wanted him and he didn’t want to be serious. He’s said that he scared to settle down. As a woman who has been abused, I believe and her body language has all the indicators from what I can tell. Besides, not all people are the same. So not all people react in cookie cutter fashion.

I re-watched the episode. So she tells people at the record label but not the police? Abuse victims usually hide from everyone, especially people close to them out of fear and shame. People are comparing this to the Chris/Rihanna situation, with that situation I totally believe that Rihanna hit him out of jealousy and got the worst end of the fight. Let’s not have double standards women should be treated the same if they put their hands on a man. I’m a woman and I know how women are. They are not all innocent and warm.
