As I revealed in a previous post, Tierra and Damon are still together, however they DID NOT elope as many sites are reporting.

The lovebird’s have, however, been spotted around town and Sheree has officially addressed her meddling mistake…
Going over and spending time with Tierra is always great. I wasn’t really shocked when she said she thinks Damon is about ready to settle down. They have been together since their sophomore year in college. My family is very familiar with Damon as we are with some of his family members as well. We have a good relationship. He is like a son to me, a brother to Kairo, and he just gets along with everyone.
I knew at some point this would come, and I’m more than elated for them.
As I watch Tierra continue to grow into this beautiful, responsible, dedicated, hard working, respectful, strong, but still very sensitive woman I can only hold my head up high and be proud. Tierra has an incredible heart and is very loyal. I know she will be an amazing wife and mom someday. Marriage is a beautiful thing and I wish her all the happiness in the world and then some!
Meeting up with Damon to pick out rings was fun. I’m glad he invited me to tag along. The rings were beautiful, and we had a lot of laughs as I teased him about the size and prices of the rings.
At the end of the day, I could care less what size ring Damon gets Tierra, and he knows that. As long as he lives up to his vows and makes Tierra happy, her mom is happy!
Damon and Tierra were recently spotted taking in a Hawks vs. Bulls game at Atlanta’s Philips arena and are said to be inseparable. The two were holding hands and laughing all night long and looked like they were madly in love.
While it’s true that Tierra still doesn’t have that $40,000 ring her mom so desperately wanted Damon to purchase, he is rumored to still spend the little he has to make sure she’s happy and taken care of.
At the end of the day, I’m sure Damon knows by now that Tierra and her mom are two totally different people and when the time is right… he’ll pop the question in his own speical way.
In the meantime, I wish the cute couple much success and pray they continue to live, love and enjoy the ATL sunshine…. together!

Sheree’s daughter is so pretty! Anyway, I am happy for her and Damon! Sheree’ needs to realize, her daughter is grown and is going to make her own decision. At the end of the day, Damon told Sheree’ right “I’m not marrying YOU!’, so glad they aren’t paying Sheree’ any mind.

Once again… another long list of people tearing young black people down. C’mon you all. did you really have it altogether when you were in college or fresh out of college? These are two young people who need encouragement, not criticism. Sheree’s daughter is beautiful and time will only enhance that. As for Damon he is young as well. And a part time job somewhere and living honest is better than hustling on the corner for a quick buck or in jail. Which is where alot of our young black men are. Lets encourage him to continue on the right path and commend him for even considering to live a life committed and loyal to ONE woman. As for Sheree…she needs to have a seat. Her advice is completely empty considering she doesn’t have a husband, a man nor can she keep either one. Those superficial ways lead to lonely and BROKE. At 22 I had a beautiful engagement ring that costed roughly $2000 or less. Great clarity and it was beautiful. We built on it, and for every milestone anniversary he bought a new diamond band. By the time he was done I had 2.75 carats on my hand. And the ring was beautiful. But the marriage didn’t even last so that 2.75 carats sits in my jewelry box. Seriously, a practical ring that has beauty yet comes from the heart is best. Put the rest of that money on a down payment for a house. Be smart! Keeping up with the Joneses will cause you to end up broke and returning clothes with tags on it. Look at your mom good and hard Tierra. Do you really want to end up like her?
