The overall consensus has been positive EXCEPT for M.I.A. (the singer behind the Swagga Like Us song) who did an “obscene” finger gesture onstage, for which the NFL issued an apology:
“The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing and we apologize to our fans,” said Brian McCarthy, spokesman for the NFL, which produced Madonna’s halftime show.
Blah blah blah… who really cares? It’s only a dayum finger! Get over it.
Hell… “Reverend’ Ceelo Green stole the show anyway when he ended the segment onstage with Madonna and a gazillion choir members for “Like A Prayer”.

Madonna was boring, and stiff as usual.
Thank GOD for Black Folk cause she needed ALL the Black Folk she could get to pull that off. Nice props but chic was moving mighty slow.If you say you gonna do it ..don’t think people gon’ say "well..she IS 50ty somethin’..". Naaaa…but Madonna IS a smart woman and when you show up with Ceelo and Nicki..you been saved.

7 out 10, never notice MIA gesture until the media made a big deal out of something that minor. Madonna and Jaime king did a great job even though most of her vocals were lip synced.
I didn’t see the middle finger either. Madonna was moving slow, but overall, her performance was pretty good. Pretty much what I expected.

It states your popularity drops, Lose your fans who no longer buy your music or purchase concert tickets and was force to perform in venues like Omaha Ne. it was uncomfortable to watch….at 1point Madonna looked like she waz gonna stumble during her performance. Nikki Minaj was her Animated self….and MIA…well where has she been.. It was Hodge Podge if #Messy and I was totally not impressed…sooo CeeLo Green…huh?
I love the half time show. Madonna can do two things in her sleep that’s perform and make money, this chick is an all time bad. The finger MIA threw was no big deal, if she hanging with Madonna she getting coached by the best of them cause I had forgot all about paper planes but after the press started talking I even went on youtube searching her latest vids. I like the one Bad Girls.
