Word on the curb is that Jennifer Hudson and her fiance of 3 years, David “Punk” Otunga have officially called it quits.
After a three-year engagement, Jennifer Hudson has abandoned plans to walk down the aisle.
The American Idol alum, 30, and WWE star David Otunga – who have a 2-year-old son, David jr. – are on the outs, clashing over Jennifer’s career obsession, commitment issues and reluctance to have more children.
“They were going to tie the knot in August in Jennifer’s hometown of Chicago… but it’s not going to happen,” an insider reveals.
Many feel that it was Jennifer’s dramatic weight loss that caused the split, but there were also rumors that J-Hud’s finance/baby daddy had refused to sign a prenuptial agreement after they had already set a wedding date.
The pair has rarely been seen together these past few months, so are you really surprised about this break-up news?

It’s unfortunate because that child now has to grow up in a single parent home and I don’t care how much money you have a father figure not in the home is no bueno. I think that Jennifer has gotten too caught up with the Hollywood world and worries too much about what she looks like, what and where she is seen or seen in and we all forget that this guy David was liking all 200lba of her before the baby , before the weight loss, before the Oscar . So we don’t really understand all that may have changed since then especially the horrible death of her family members that David also stood by her side in that situation. I don’t think it’s fair to call him names and be negative when we the public don’t know what changed the relationship and caused get to want a prenuptial and him to not want to sign it. I hope that common sense settles on both their brains at the end of it all cause we have enough black male children in this country without fathers….smh
i saw it coming… she admitted that he told her that she was losing too much on one of the interviews… obviously he likes a little meat with his potatoes and i think Jennifer has gone a little zealous with it when she announced she was a size 0. she said he was always trying to make her eat…sad but thats not the first time that ive seen peoples relatonship changes because not weight gain, but weight loss.
If it’s true that he WON’T sign a prenup,which is the norm for successful individuals no matter occupation to insure they’ll keep their assets just in case,then I congratulate you Jen for thinking with your business head than that fantasy head game so many fall victim to.
