Antwan “Big Boi” Patton was spotted outside his trailer in San Francisco last weekend chillin with his buddy funny man Dave Chappelle.
Big was in Cali to perform at the Outsand Lands Festival but apparently had to cancel his set due to a few technical difficulties.
After an hour long delay, an anxious San Fran crowd began to boo my boo, and Big hit the stage (and twitter) to explain the situation.
Twan even noted that he’d been waiting backstage for two hours himself, having dinner with Chappelle.
To appease the disgruntled fans, Big brought Chappelle out on stage, and he graciously took the mic for a few minutes.

Chappelle eventually put the crowd at ease with a few jokes about about beach balls at concerts, but Big’s fans were still disappointed in the end when his manager came on to proclaim that “they’d rather do no show than a half ass show.”
Big promised he’d make it up soon, but no date has been set as of yet.

Yeah that was funny I noticed he looked around filling the crowd out before he grabbed a microphone. However it is always a tremendous let down when a star forgets what it is to be standing in the crowd waiting in excitement for a once in a lifetime chance to seen the performance of someone that is considered a icon. Next time Big Boi take the time to remember when that was you standing in the crowd. True talent does not require all the fluff. Do better.
