I was perusing the net a while back and ran across these AWESOME pictures of Phaedra Parks from her days as a college student back in the 90′s (my how times have changed!).
I wasn’t gonna use them, but figured since Phaedra’s out of the country filming RHOA, now is my chance to post them without hearing her mouth!
The photo above (right) was taken when Parks was just a mere Freshman, all smiles and ready to take on the world! Now 20+ years later… she still has that same smile and youthful glow!
Way before Phaedra became Atlanta’s favorite entertainment attorney, new mom, and sexy star of The Real housewives of Atlanta, she was a young, attractive and highly intelligent undergrad at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia.
My friends over at Starcasm tracked down her Wesleyan yearbooks (1990-1993) and shared all of Phaedra’s college pics online.
Check out Phaedra in her Sophomore, Junior & Senior years as we flashback to 90′s college fashion and back….
Sophomore Year (1991)
Phaedra was a communications major at the small, all-women’s college and her former professor Cindy Buell remembers her as “extremely bright, motivated and charming.”
As part of her communications degree Phaedra took public speaking and interpersonal communication classes from Buell, which must have served her well in the courtroom and even better as a member of the ATL housewives!
Junior year (1992)
Also helping out her promising career as a reality superstar is her self-proclaimed Southern Lady class, a characteristic most assuredly cultivated at the historic Southern college most famous for for being the first college in the world to grant degrees to women.
It would be hard for anyone to take a brief walk around the historic campus without a little bit of Southern charm rubbing off!
Senior Year (1993)
In addition to impressing faculty members with her intelligence and drive, Phaedra Parks was also active on the Wesleyan campus participating in a number of organizations including the Council on Social Activities, Mortar Board, Wesleyan Ambassadors, student hostess, Alpha Kappa Psi, and the Black Student Association
