Bow Wow’s baby mama, model Joie Chavis aka MissJoie, has also come forward to add her own two cents to their story, confirming that Moss was indeed suicidal, and admitting to be a bit doubtful about all the props he’s receiving for coming clean…
He’s getting all these props as dad of the year, I just hope he does the work, in fact, I pray he becomes an example to all young fathers. I was happy to hear his statements, I just pray he lives up to it.
I can totally understand Miss Joie’s skepticism about her rap star baby daddy, especially considering Bow Wow never even bothered to sign lil Shai’s birth certificate! 
Details below:
Joie Chavis recently revealed to TMZ how shocked she was shocked that Shad wasn’t there for her during the birth of their daughter. Chavis underwent an emergency C-section on April 27 and Bow Wow was a no show.
Moss finally showed up on the 6th day of his daughter’s life, to take Joie & Shai home, but he still never signed Shai’s birth certificate so he’s NOT listed as the father on the document.
Joie says she’s now willing to let bygones be bygones and put Bow Wow on the document, but it’s going to take a court order to make that happen.
I’m happy that he’s happy and he wants to be a part of her life. I am encouraged that he wants to do the things his father didn’t do with him.

Ok, it’s out-on-a-limb time and this is my strictly my opinion, not factually based: But could it be he’s trying calm the gay rumors by using this as a means of confirming he does like vagina? That’s kind if harsh to deny his daughter this long; not even be there for the birth. Now all of a sudden, he wants to be “daddy”? Of course people will be suspicious of this act I’m just hoping it’s anti-depression medication.
I wonder how he feels that strangers I.e. nurses spent more time with his child when she was born then he did cause he wasn’t there. Those precious moments after birth he can never get back , ALL THE NAME BRAND things he thinks is going to make up for it can’t.
