The blogger, who shall remain nameless cause he’s a hater, said some pretty foul things about Mo on twitter, where he boldly sent her the hater messages directly and on his site, where he never says a kind word about anyone.
The mean spirited tweets prompted Mo to issue several rants in her own defense:

There is a lot that i’d like to say as far as Monica having a negative affect on young girls, however i’ll keep it concise and to the point. As parents too often we blame celebrities for our shortcomings, completely denouncing that majority of African-American households are headed by a single parent which has an adverse effect on children. We think celebs are obligated to us and they’re not, although some feel that they’re morally obligated. The personal choices that Monica makes as an ADULT should not be replicated by YOUNG girls if the PARENTS of those girls are ACTIVE in their lives and continuously supervise their every activity. I’ll be damned if the actions of a celebrity influences the decisions my child makes. With that said, it’s quite comical when I hear people blame celebs in order to disguise their shortcoming as a parent.Sorry I just don’t subscribe to that type of mentality .

If you look at ALL my comments from Sandra Rose, to Straight From The A to Charles’ blog, not once did I ever say that Monica was not talented. To the contrary, I put her on the level of Whitney Houston and Celine Dion but you (her “stans”) put her on the level of a hoodrat. I was riding with her comeback until I saw her BET show. The direction of the show was unclear. I thought it should have focused more on her comeback efforts than trying to prove that Roco is a good baby daddy. Her children were in too many scenes. I thought it should have focused on her recovering from her ordeal as it relates to her comeback. And why was her cousin/manager’s love life even an issue?? Blank stare.
