November 12, 2009 @ 10:39 pmBlack women should stop complaining every time a successful black man opts for a non-black woman whether it’s for Usher’s photoshoot or simply for companionship. We are not pigeon-holed into ONLY associating/working with/marrying black women. I remember a few short years ago, many black women cried on national tv that all of the GOOD black men were either dead, ***, or in jail(never got the good men in JAIL b.s.).
The problem with that theory was, a lot of GOOD/SUCCESSFUL black men HEARD that. We know that many black women only find us good, ONCE we have become successful. The problem for the “bitter” black women after that is…you are no longer necessary. Many black women have to change their attitudes if they are expecting a GOOD man(regardless of his race).
Stop complaining and treat GOOD black men the way many non-black women do. Many of you CLAIM queen status, but have no idea how to treat a king! Unfortunately for black women many non-black women do…it’s the way they were raised!
