The 1st Annual Fashion & Style Honors was held Tuesday night at Opera. Dwight Eubanks, the unofficial/official 6th housewife from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, hosted the event which was a whos-who of the Atlanta fashion industry. A few of my favs, Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks and Celebrity Hairstylist Derek J were spotted in the crowd and from the photos it seemed to be a successful event. That is…until the streets started talking!

Hell to the naw!

I had other obligations and didn’t attend, but got several emails about how things suddenly went from bad to worse, starting with the sound system and eventually to the audiance exiting the venue early. I even check the Live Twitter of one of the attendees who didn’t seem happy at all:

Emails have also been flying and although I have no clue who “Atlanta Gossip” is or where to find their site, I’ve been getting forwarded emails of her her account of the situation:

I left half way through the program because I found myself having to stand in heels “standing room only” with no seats, unless you paid for the balcony. I never would have gone if I had known that I had to stand up the entire time. My $100.00 hairdo and $175.00 dress went to waste as it got all smoked up from attendees smoking everything from cigars, cigarettes to blunts. Smoke was everywhere and now I’m glad I did not sit in the balcony because smoke rises and I would have died from a heart attack.

I’ve searched and searched for this “Atlanta Gossip” site and can’t find it anywhere. If anyone has a link, leave it in the comments section. Please. Thank you. Moving on….
