T.I. Covers Vibe’s April 2009 Issue + Gone til’ November (Mixtape)
T.I. covers the April 2009 issue of Vibe Magazine. This cover is a different look for Tip and perhaps it’s Vibe’s shrewd way of showing on the outside how much he’s changed on the inside. Just as the magazine revealed Tupac Shakur’s sensitive side, they are delving deep into the mind of ATL’s own King of hip-hop. The article promises to be a must read as they address the theory that T.I. snitched in order to get his plea deal. I’ve also heard that the photospread inside will be just as interesting as that cover shot.
After the announcement on March 27, 2008 of what many felt was a shockingly light slap on the wrist for the serious charges, many responded by screaming, “Snitch!” However, authorities agreed to a groundbreaking plea deal negotiated by heavyweight Criminal Defense Attorney, Steve Sadow, who cited the star’s ability to influence others by serving 1500 hours of community service.
T.I. bites back at rumors about how he scored this largely unprecedented deal by saying, “Ain’t no such thing as a secret snitch…Pull up my agreement. It’s public record.”
In the thought-provoking feature, Meadows-Ingram meets with the rapper/actor in Washington, D.C., on the eve of President Barack Obama’s inauguration, where T.I. accepted an award from the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network for his work with the “Respect My Vote” campaign. VIBE follows the rapper during some of his court-mandated speaking engagements and the filming of his MTV show, T.I’s Road to Redemption, where the newly minted role model motivates and inspires at-risk youths. VIBE’s feature story showcases remarkable photos of T.I. reenacting poses made famous by legendary cultural icons Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg. (Source)

March 4, 2009 @ 4:47 pmeveryone knows when you go to the feds:
1. they throw big numbers at you (years in jail)
2. you either take a deal/snitch, or do those numbers (years in jail)
3. t.i. was out in no time, then got a year off to make money before going to jail for only 1 year.
4. having good lawyers dont matter much in the feds because they have a 98.9% conviction rate
so set aside the fact that he’s cute…he’s a snitch
i know dudes who got double digit years for only having 1 gun, with a history like tip-sters

March 6, 2009 @ 1:26 pm@Philly ~ One things for sure…us ATLiens do stick together BUT…it’s obvious in this situation that WE are not the only ones who “don’t seem to mind”… If only Atlanta fans were responsible for Tip’s success, he’d still be living on Bankhead. 4sho! Check his numbers. They’re worldwide. and I’m sure there are some in Philly (besides you of course) who support him just as we do. Don’t front….

a snitch is a snitch is a snitch
so yall keep supporting tip-ster if yall want, while good men are behind bars and snitches roam free. i heard ALOT men in atlanta eat fruity pebbles on the down low anyway, but philly is filled with muslim men, real men, stand up men, we dont play that snitching ish. my people’s in jail (feds) cause they aint say nothing. then you got tip-ster snitching, with his herpes infested lips, and YALL WOMEN STILL WANT SOME. ……..whatever! AND HE MADE A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT.

March 6, 2009 @ 5:20 pmi heard jeezy is real “G” down south….i wonder what he thinks about tip-ster???
Philly
March 7, 2009 @ 9:36 ami ride hard on snitches, till my people are free
“t.i. got money..thats why he’s out”
THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DONT GIVE A **** ABOUT TIP-STER. THE FEDS HAVE A 98.9% CONVICTION RATE. THOSE BLACK Ma%*& GUYS IN ATL HAD MORE MONEY THAN THESE STARS AND THEY’RE IN JAIL 4LIFE. MONEY DOES NOT EQUAL FREEDOM IN THE FEDS.
“the only thing i fear is the muthafuck!n feds”-Jeezy
