Sheree Whitfield Can’t Get Blood From A Turnip + Reveals New Website

Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Sheree Whitfield has decided to dismiss her divorce appeal against her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield. Documents reveal that the former Atlanta Falcon is BROKE and hasn’t even paid his child support for the past 15 months. “To date, Bob Whitfield has paid $425,000 of the court-ordered $775,000 to his ex-wife. But he has not paid any child support since the final divorce judgment was signed in October 2007.” says Sheree’s attorney Michael Weinstock.
Sheree’s dream of a seven-figure settlement has gone up in smoke and apparently the diva has accepted the bitter truth about her ex’s finances. The 2400 sq ft. home Sheree displayed on the show was awarded to her ex in the divorce decree but Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. is now advertising that it plans to foreclose on the property and sell the spacious Sandy Springs home on the courthouse steps. The home, registered solely to Bob Whitfield, was placed on the market briefly during the dispute but is now listed as “off-market.”
Sheree, seemingly unfazed by her ex-hubby’s financial state, recently announced the launch of her new website where she can get up close and personal with all her fans (and haters). She’ll be displaying her She by Sheree fashion line on the site as well as a new blog where she’ll be able to share her personal divorce experiences first hand.
Lawyers for both parties are still going at it, but now seem to be fighting only to get paid. Sheree’s attorney, Michael Weinstock, discovered Whitfield’s poor financial condition and apparently advised his client that it was worthless to fight for funds that weren’t there. Now Bob’s attorney, Christopher Olmstead, wants to be reimbursed for the time clocked defending his client against the appeal….and the saga continues. (Full Story)

February 4, 2009 @ 9:06 amI’m a little confused about a few things: If Sheree was so smart she would have furthered her education a long time ago then she wouldn’t have to depend on Bob. She kept saying she wanted to do this on her own but kept using Bobs name every opportunity she could “I’m the ex-wife of Bob Whitefield”. She looks like a drag queen. The next man who gets involve with Sheree should know what to expect. She needs another divorce settlement. Get out and get your own.
