    Thanks Atlien.
Feeling Jeezy’s verse and the beat but I just can’t vibe with ‘Ye and the autotune on every f##kin song. My prediction: ‘Ye won’t touch anywhere near the sales he’s expecting in the long term(after a decent first few weeks) and by next summer this album will be re-released minus the autotune. Music ends up sounding dated when people do fad-ish things. A couple years ago it was the snaps for the highs in songs, and we all know how quick that played out. Other examples of things that played out: Disco music in general, grudge rock, West Coast G-Funk, etc. etc. Groundbreaking music sets trends, it doesn’t follow them. If he thinks this is going to do for him what The Chronic did for Dr. Dre then Don C and the rest of ‘Ye’s boys are a bunch of “Yes” men.

As far as ‘Ye implying he just has to put this out, I’m not buying that. Many artists go to the studio and record music just for their personal use and/or to get things off their chests and it’s never officially released to the general public(unless you’re Weezy).

His use of the autotune isn’t breaking any ground in rap music, dude can produce his *** off, no doubts about that but ‘Ye can’t sing and the autotune camouflages that fact. If this is what his post-graduation work is going to sound like then ‘Ye needs to go back to college. ;-)
