T.H.U.G.s Honored in Atlanta Tonight
Atlanta will be hosting the first ever T.H.U.G. Awards tonight at the Rialto Center of the Arts. In case you were wondering T.H.U.G. stands for “Tru to His/Her Urban Genius”. The event, sponsored by The Source Magazine, will be hosted by Comedian Damon Williams and filming begans at 7:30.
Paying tribute to artists, record label executives and industry playmakers with a comedic celebrity roast, T.H.U.G Awards highlights the achievements of those who rose above their impoverished surroundings to impact the world of music and entertainment. Among honorees for the star-studded event are Grand Hustle co-CEO Jason Jeter, Hip-Hop fly jock Greg Street, Rap-A-Lot Records CEO James Prince, fashion entrepreneur Gino Green and Swishahouse Records CEO Michael “5000″ Watts.
