Angela Bassett Joins “ER”
Angela Bassett is joining “ER” for it’s final season. The veteran actress will play a “tough-as-nails attending physician who is coming back to Chicago after doing tsunami relief work in Indonesia.” Of course you already know there will be much drama with Ms. Bassett’s character…it is expected that she will be hiding a troubled past that reveals itself towards the final episode. I can see it now…she swings into town with an abusive husband and she hides her bruises with cheap make-up and sunglasses…that’s already been done?….oh, my bad!
