Bravo synopsis:

The ladies rehash the drama of Jamaica from the ups and downs surrounding the execution of Cynthia’s commercial to her downplaying her relationship with Kenya to the group. In a special appearance, NeNe Leakes gathers with the women to weigh in on the drama and to address the group’s concerns surrounding Porsha’s anger management issues. Shere? and NeNe reflect on their shaky past and where their friendship stands today. The men join the conversation to give their opinions on the plethora of hot-button issues including unsettling allegations surrounding Kim’s husband, Chris.

As expected, Bravo saved Nene Leakes’ appearance for the final installment of the reunion show, but the OG ‘housewife’s’ appearance seemed merely a ploy to stretch out the reunion show for what turned out to be a pretty lackluster season without her.

Recap below…

Who’s Whose BFF?

The BFF debate was brought up once again as Nene Leakes returned for the final segment of the RHOA reunion.

Kenya wasn’t too pleased to see NeNe return this season, especially when it was clear that Cynthia was happy about the resurrection of their friendship. Kenya explained that she was hurt about Cynthia saying, ‘We’re still getting to know each other,’ like she was ‘some stray off the street’.”

She went on to call Cynthia’s dismissal, “the ultimate denial of a relationship.”

Cynthia tried to explain, stating,

“NeNe and I didn’t talk for two years and it felt good to just be cool again. What I did make the mistake of doing was just not being crystal clear about how I felt about Kenya. We are NOT besties or BFFs, but we are very, very close friends, and I love her.”

When asked her take on the situation, NeNe says that she and Kenya are now “in a much better place” even though there were times when she “wanted to snatch Kenya’s eyes out of her head”.

The Feds Are Watching…

Phaedra Parks was put on the hot seat about calling the feds on her fellow castmates, which she denied.

As revealed during the RHOA season 8 finale, both Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey has received visits from secret service agents inquiring about Apollo’s hidden assets.

Tt was unclear whether anyone on the stage actually believed Phaedra until Peter Thomas revealed his conversation with the agent and that “basically said he saw it on the show.”

Kandi and Todd filmed scenes in their garage earlier in the season and Apollo’s 4 wheelers were clearly seen in the footage.  There was also a clip played during the reunion of one of Kandi’s appearances on the Watch What Happens LIVE! after show, where she stated that Apollo had belongings in their garage.

Andy seemed a bit surprised that the feds watched his show, but I don’t see how anyone would be shocked. Big Brother is always watching!

Todd earns his peach…

Todd Tucker and Phaedra Parks went head to head and fans seemed shocked that he took it that far.

[Sidebar: It seems Todd may have gotten a few tips from Peter Thomas on how to make an impact because now he’s gained the name ‘Tiffany’ on social media… But I digress.]

When the topic of Todd’s payment comes up (yet again), Phaedra argues that since Todd had been hanging out with Apollo Nida before his arrest, she didn’t understand why it was never brought up to him.

That’s when Todd lost it.

“You know so much about what Todd is doing, but Apollo was in your house and you didn’t know what the f–k he was doing?”

Phaedra then pulls out her phone to document their email exchanges over the money she may or may not have owed him for her workout video, but once they both acknowledged Todd had gotten paid all the dough, no one seemed to care and they all moved on.

As for the state of Kandi & Phaedra’s friendship… it seems like that’s a wrap. Especially considering that Kandi felt ‘some kinda way’ about Phaedra’s exchange with her husband.

[Sidebar; Isn’t it ironic that Kandi got upset about Phaedra’s statements about Todd, while she (Kandi) felt ok with telling Phaedra what to do about her husband (Apollo) seeing their kids?]

Kenya’s Gay-Bashing ‘Apology’…

Kim Field’s husband, Christopher Morgan, finally got the opportunity to address comments that had been made about his sexuality, stating:

His wife, who was (understandably) a little less diplomatic about the whole thing, called the comments made by Kenya “disgusting.” But Kenya wasn’t ready to back down or apologize just yet.

“I am a performer. I am not immune to people talking bad about me, especially when they want what I have.

When it comes to who I am as a man, that’s what I know, and that’s what I know my wife knows, so I’m secure in that.”

Kenya gets called out about lying about the situation and while each and every other ‘housewife’ had already made amends with Kim and Chris, it seems that Kenya is the only one sticking by the story.

“When you say I lied, you’re lying, because I never lied. I didn’t make up the rumor. I brought up the fact that the rumor existed.”

Kenya also brings up some altercation that Chris had on the bus in Jamaica that wasn’t aired on the show, which sparked a separate conversation about whether he was acting flamboyantly or if he was simply imitating the other women.

Chris asks Kenya directly, “Who calls me Chrissy?” and she refuses to answer, stating, ‘Google yourself and find out.”

That’s when Andy Cohen jumps in to address Kenya being “all kind of gay-bashy,” and to reprimand her behavior by calling it ‘taunting, and derogatory.”

Morgan can be heard stating that Kenya is “a horrible person. She can’t help it.”

Cohen then basically forced Kenya to apologize and she begins with a half-hearted statement to which Andy cut her off saying it was a “crappy” apology and she’d have to do better.

Finally, Kenya states, “I’m sorry, Christopher,” but no one seemed to buy her statement.

[Sidebar: Why was Rent-a-Matt even there?? What was his purpose at the reunion?? Again… I digress.]

Porsha’s Anger Management Issues…

PLOT TWIST!! Porsha Williams was called out about having anger management issues and it was revealed that she’d been in yet another physical fight during filming of RHOA.

At Phaedra’s holiday party, Porsha apparently fought her assistant/friend Jami in a back alley and for whatever reason, producers decided to hold the footage until now.

According to Porsha, Jami had been showing “a lot of disrespect” all night and the fight “just escalated.”

Phaedra takes up for her new BFF, revealing that Porsha had enrolled in an anger management class.

Since this is Porsha’s THIRD physical confrontation that has been caught on tape, NeNe chimes in as well, telling Williams, “You cannot put your hands on anybody else!”

When Porsha tries to come for Nene, Leakes reminds her that while she may (or may not) have choked Kim Zolciak (as reported HERE), she was smart enough NOT to do it while the cameras were rolling (BLOOP!)

Meanwhile, Kim Fields comes to Porsha’s defense, stating, “I think we’re also missing the important step of congratulations for doing what you’re doing so far. The fact that you went to counseling and then came here and talked about it, that’s real grown-up,”

For the record, admitting you have a problem is the first step so Porsha should definitely be commended, but what’s taking Kenya so long to follow suit???
