But not before her married ex-boyfriend Nikko had already spilled the beans to anyone who would listen.

Nikko hit up Hot97 a few months back and broke down the entire sordid plan, revealing how his wife, Margeaux was even cool with the situation because they had been homeless and he was only trying to support his family.

Whatever the case, he admits in the interview that both he and Mimi ‘intentionally’ submitted the video to Vivid and that they got way less than the 2 million that was reported.

My friends at theshaderoom.com broke it all down for those of you who can’t bear to watch Nikko’s face for too long:

Nikko says it all started when he moved to LA from Brooklyn in search of pursuing his dreams. He stumbled across a hustle?moving from one record label to another collecting advances (which was easier to do back in the 90s).

He eventually brought his wife Margo out to LA and shortly after they became homeless.

So then he started managing a group that wasn?t going anywhere and ended up at an esquire party at a Bel Air estate and ran into Mimi. Mind you, this was after Mimi appeared on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. He claims to have known Mimi for 12 years and says that they had a fling back in the day.

He says that Mimi and her manager approached Nikko, wined and dined him, and offered him a slot on the show as her love interest. He didn?t tell his wife because he knew she would be cool with it, and we all know he didn?t tell Mimi because he would have lost the opportunity.

Then, he said that he got on the show and his role was to be the villain. He admitted that the sex tape was planned and they intentionally submitted their home video.

Then, he said that he got on the show and his role was to be the villain. He admitted that the sex tape was planned and they intentionally submitted their home video to Vivid. Vivid later forced them to record the video over and they agreed. Fast forward to today he claims he?s still getting checks from the tape but they definitely didn?t get 2 million for it.

I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

What do you think of Nikko’s detailed explanation?
