I revealed to you the cast list of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta?months ago (HERE)?and updated you with changes to the cast, including who quit the show and the 2nd string replacement (HERE)?but at the time of my posts, the casting of the show had not been truly finalized.
Now the “official” cast listing has been released, as well as the premiere date for the show and guess what??I was?correct (as usual).
Not much has changed since my last post and most of the “A” is still scared to death of how Mona Scott Young?will portray our city on the upcoming show.
I’ve even heard that a powerful Atlanta rapper who shall remain nameless since he’s still on probation, threatened to sabotage the production if Atlanta was shown in a less than favorable light (but you didn’t hear that from me).
So without further adieu, here’s the tea on the “OFFICIAL” cast of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta…
The OFFICIAL cast list of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is as follows:
Atlanta rapper?Rasheeda?joins the cast with her manager and husband?Kirk Frost.
Rasheeda has been in the rap game for a while now and this show could possibly be her shot at mainstream stardom.
The talented female rapstress, who recently became a grandmother after Frost’s teen daughter (from a previous relationship) gave birth, has an 11 year old son with her husband.
These two have managed to stay pretty low-key as a couple thus far, and I’ve heard through the grapevine that Frost has some reservations about revealing their personal life to the world. But tapings already done and it’s probably too late to turn back now…
Grammy Award winning producer Stevie J. who has worked with?Diddy, Jay-Z?and?is well known as rapper Eve’s ex boo joins the cast with his current girlfriend, MiMi Faust.
I have nothing on them. At all…
The unknown Latina rapper I spoke about in my original post is named “Joseline” (never heard of her? neither have I).
Scrappy and his mom’s addition to the cast is what scared Diamond off, which is a shame because she really needed this show.
As you know, Mama Dee once called Diamond a “Low Down Dirty B*tch” on Atlanta radio after she found out Diamond was running around town with Soulja Boy?but unfortunately we won’t get to see her beat the breaks offa Diamond on film anytime soon.
Relatively unknown singer?K Michelle joins the cast as Diamond’s 2nd string replacement.
I’d heard that producers of the show originally weren’t feeling K. Michelle but Diamond’s loss is clearly the ghetto singer’s gain.
Instead of thanking God for her big break, K. Michelle was feeling some kinda way she found out why she was blessed with the gig…

Trinidadian R&B singer?Karlie Redd also?joins the cast to add a bit of diversity to the otherwise ratchet selection of non-ATLiens.
Other than Rasheeda and Scrappy, I’m soooo not interested. But who knows… it may be just ghetto enough to watch.
According to the AJC, there will be 10 episodes.?The original version, which has already aired two seasons since its debut in March, 2011, drew 2 to 3 million viewers per week in its original airing.
