Arriving deputies soon learned the disturbance was related to an “ongoing large-scale unlicensed marijuana distribution operation” headquartered at a nearby house.

A search warrant was executed on the home and authorities found more than 45 pounds of processed marijuana, which is worth roughly $200,000 on the street. Detectives also seized $108,000 in cash.

Charles J. Yorkovich, Joseph Sullivan and Jordan Long were arrested and booked into Clark County Jail.

“I walk back and forth around here all the time. It feels real safe — I thought,” neighbor Lowell Kenedy told KATU News.

“(I’m) very surprised. It’s a quiet neighborhood and always has been,” another neighbor added.

According to a commander for the Clark-Vancouver Drug Task Force, it is becoming more common for drug dealers to move into, suburban settings, like the Salmon Creek neighborhood, because they appear unassuming.

The discovery of the unlicensed marijuana operation in the Washington state is one of the largest raids in the state.
