#RHOA Season 8 Casting Update: Claudia Jordan Gone + At Least 4 Regulars Returning… [EXCLUSIVE DETAILS]

Yup. It’s official.

The cat lady known as Claudia Jordan is no longer a ‘Real Housewife of Atlanta‘!!

The single friend of the show turnt ‘housewife’ worked everyone’s nerves during season 7 of the popular reality show (especially Nene Leakes), and it seems that Bravo heard the cries of the fans and has decided NOT to offer Jordan the golden ticket to return for season 8.

But wait. I’ve also got a little bit of tea on who’s returning for season 8.

While I’ve heard for weeks now that Claudia Jordan didn’t have a chance of returning for next season, I decided to sit on the news until I knew for sure.

But since TMZ broke the news this morning, I guess the cat’s outta the bag. They report:

Claudia Jordan learned the hard way not to mess with Nene Leakes ? because she’s been fired … TMZ has learned.

We?re told that producers gave her the ax this week ? and she didn?t see it coming.

Jordan got a lot of face time last season by standing up to the show?s O.G. Nene Leakes. Fact is … Kenya Moore also mouthed off to Nene, but she’s earned her stripes over time.

The new season begins filming next month in ATL. Bravo hasn’t decided if Claudia can come back for guest appearances.

Nene Leakes always wins.

Apparently Claudia got the news the same time y’all did because she immediately hit the tweets with the following response:

Anywhoo, for those of you wondering about who’s coming BACK for season 8 of course you already know Ms. Leakes is number one on the list.

Others who are rumored to have secured their contracts for next season include Kandi Burruss (who even has a few more spin-offs in the works), Cynthia Bailey (I guess that Peter Thomas drama never disappoints), and Phaedra Parks, who was reportedly spotted taping with a few RHOA hopefuls last week.

While I’m rooting for Kenya Moore to pack her bags along with Claudia, I think she’ll be returning as well. So far, Kenya hasn’t been able to agree on her contract, so as of right now… she doesn’t have one.

Season 8 plot twist…

Producers reportedly want to add TWO new housewives and have been testing a few newbies to add into the mix.

Sheree Whitfield’s name has been tossed around again and again to fill one of the season 8 slots but it’s all dependent upon her demands. Apparently she was considered for season 7 but was asking for way too much money, so producers passed on her.

Maybe Sheree will humble herself and take less dough for season 8. Who knows? I’m rooting for her though… cause I know she needs the cash.

So in summary, season 8 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will include Nene Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks. No word on Kenya, but she’s been asked back.

Claudia got the boot. There are TWO ‘housewife’ slots available and Sheree Whitfield is begging for another chance.
