The Real Housewives of Atlanta has finally come to the end of it’s seventh season, but it wasn’t without a ton of drama.

In part 1 of the season 7 reunion show Nene Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams all sat on opposite sides from #TeamPetty i.e. Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Claudia Jordan and newest ‘Petty’ member Kandi Burruss.
While the goal of the ‘all-white’ dress theme was to symbolize ‘peace’ and sisterhood, it seems that the thirst is still VERY real *cough* (Claudia) and so was the shade *cough* (Phaedra), as the ladies all battled each other on an Asian inspired set… but this time they dragged using words.

Kandi just can’t seem to get over Phaedra being friends with Nene and it’s dragged on so long that the two are now confronting each other at the reunion.
Burruss comes out locked and loaded as she blasts Nene for everything she’s ever said about her friend Phaedra. From Nene claiming not to know Phaedra in Athens to the Head Doctor comments… everything from seasons past is brought up and it still doesn’t make up for the fact that Kandi didn’t check on Phaedra when she was going through her drama with Apollo.
Nene almost shed a few tears as she tried to explain to Kandi how she chose to be there for Phaedra because she know how it felt to be hurt by a husband.? She knew the pain of having to be a single mother. And she reached out to Phaedra because she knew the importance of merely having someone check on you.
Phaedra Parks and Kandi’s friendship may be a wrap…
What I found interesting about this segment is that Cynthia Bailey spoke up and redeemed herself, while Kandi Burruss basically judged her ‘friend’ on national tv.
When asked about Phaedra’s decision not to take her son’s to visit Apollo in Prison, Bailey states:
I obviously feel bad for Apollo, but it’s not really my place to speak to Phaedra about anything concerning her marriage or her kids.
I’ve actually been to that prison many times and a lot of families bring their kids to visit relatives.
It’s going to be a long time… 8 years…. so they’re going to have to have some type of relationship instead of him just coming out of the blue….
The women all seemed surprised that Phaedra never filed for divorce… but if you read StraightFromTheA, you already knew that.

As far as Phaedra’s feeling on the subject, it seems she’s over Kandi and anyone who is standing in judgment of whatever she chooses.
I’ve got plenty jobs… I don’t need this….
I’ve got 5 degrees, I can work everyday of my life. What I do need, is time to make the appropriate decision for my family… for my children.
And the freedom to be able to do it without people being judgmental or come with their thoughts on what I should do with MY kids that I’m supporting.
Welp… there you have it.
Porsha’s peach was snatched but she managed to secure a spot on the reunion show couch, while Claudia earned a peach through her pettiness and barely had elbow room, as she was shoved on the sofa with 3 other women.
Claudia’s chose to confront Porsha about her love life (again), which is odd, since Porsha isn’t even a ‘housewife’ anymore.? What about Claudia’s love life? What about Claudia’s ‘storyline’.? I still, to this day, don’t know why she’s there.? But whatever…
What IS Claudia’s storyline anyway???????
Moving on.
Porsha may have lost her peach but she certainly hasn’t lost her balls.? When Kenya Moore tries to come for her by bringing up her Grandfather’s history in civil rights, Porsha strikes back.
Kenya never had a mother in her life…. Kenya doesn’t know how to love… Kenya has a dark heart…. it was all brought out in Porsha’s monologue.
Sure she mispronounced scepter, but that’s a moot point considering she shut Kenya right on up about needing an apology.
Never forget that while Kenya apologized, she took the first opportunity to jump in on the drama when Claudia brought Porsha’s Bentley and her married man.
So therefore, case closed.? No apology necessary.
Phaedra backs up Porsha’s no apology stance by reminding Kenya of all the antics she’s pulled over the years.
When Kenya brings up how Porsha walks around with her ‘ass out,’ Phaedra brings up how Kenya showed up at an event with her entire fake butt on display.
Oh… and as far as that Singapore apology is concerned, y’all can chalk it up to strong arming producers because it was all for show.
When a viewer asks about Phaedra’s ‘Whore’ stance, she actually stands behind it all, stating:
I didn’t call her ‘Whore’ because of that one incident. I called her “whore’ because of the behaviors she displayed.
