And this week basically picks up with more of the same.

While Sheree fuels her issues with Tameka by nitpicking every little thing she says, Torrei Hart gets hyped up (yet again) to confront another friend (Monica). Monyetta Shaw finally decides to redecorate and replaces her life-size portraits of her ex-fiance, and Christina Johnson moves forward with her new relationship.

[Sidebar: And if you look reeeealy closely, you might even see a rejected ‘housewife’ tryna squeeze into a few of the final frames.]

VIDEO: Atlanta Exes #8 – Season Finale

Sheree Buchanan is way too emotionally invested in Tameka Raymond…

Was it me? Or was Sheree beating a dead horse this entire episode? First of all, it was just last week that she stormed out of Raymond’s housewarming party, claiming that her ‘friend’ thought she was better than everyone else. This week, Sheree digs in a little deeper by inviting Tameka to lunch to demand an apology.

Strange thing is… once she receives the apology, she calls it ‘half-assed’ in her confessional!

I don’t think that Sheree ever intended to squash whatever beef she feels she has with Tameka. If she did, what would be her storyline??

Moving on…

Monyetta relaxes and releases some emotional baggage…

Now that Monyetta has gotten good news from her doctor that her tubal ligation procedure can be reversed, it seems she’s finally able to move on from her ex.

While she’s still struggling with the task of getting over the relationship, Monyetta feels it’s time to change her decor. She invites Christina over for emotional support as she removes the portraits that she and her ex-fiance’ took when they were together.

Monyetta replaces the photos with new images of herself happily posing with her young children, Maddie & Mason, whom she affectionately refers to as her two ‘M’s.

Tameka Raymond Deals with the aftermath of her son Kile’s death…

As Sheree guns for Tameka, it seems that Tameka’s mind is else where. In addition to planning a 5k event to honor her deceased son, it seems she still has to deal with remnants of his tragic boating accident.

Cameras follow Tameka as she heads to court for the sentencing trial of her son’s killer. It’s a bittersweet victory being that the man involved was a family friend, however the case seems to be a step closer to getting some type of closure.

The ‘EXES’ all support Tameka as she hosts her first annual 5K run on her son’s birthday…. well… all except for Sheree Buchanan who is still feeling some kinda way (even after Tameka’s apology).

Torrei Hart misses out on her daughter’s big dance…

During a touching scene, Torrei Hart video chats with her 2 children, who apparently are living with their famous dad since she chose to ‘relocate’ to Atlanta for her career.

Torrei’s daughter shows off the dress that she’s wearing to her first real dance party and even shares a few dance moves with her mom.

While Torrei clearly regrets that she can’t be with her children, she says she feels that the move has been good for her career. She’s gotten connects within the Atlanta comedy community and her ‘Skinny Girl’ mixer is taking off as well.

The final blow up…

During the final segment of the finale, Sheree invites all of the ladies (and her daughter) to party with her for her birthday. She’s chosen a swanky rooftop location and is looking forward to partying with her friends.

Torrei has already decided that she’s going to confront Sheree’s friend Monica about how she turned on her with Tameka last week, when Monica revealed that she’d heard the same rumors about Sheree that Tameka had. The two exchange words with Sheree standing nearby and while we witnessed Sheree & Monica make amends last week, it seems that Sheree is quite content with having Torrei fight her battle anyway.

Monica even seems surprised that Sheree didn’t speak up for her while Torrei was going in.

Tameka Raymond, who arrives ‘fashionably late,’ apparently ruins the entire party by not speaking to Sheree when she first walked in (insert side-eye). She also decides to leave when she sees the arguing begin.

While most would consider that an honorable gesture, Sheree feels Tameka should stay and fight with the rest of them. SMH!

I don’t know… it was all a bit much but at least it ended on somewhat of a positive note.

Tameka walks away from conflict. Sheree cries because Tameka won’t fight with her, Christina gets her man and the ladies all hug it out and eat cake.

Oh…. and Sheree Whitfield pranced around in the background and finally got her face within camera shot.

The end…
