I’ll never forget the last listening session I attended in his honor, which was held at Stankonia studios in Atlanta. He was so over the top with security (for a private/invite only event) that no one even bothered to listen to his music, and feedback from the event caused him to “quit” twitter.

But that was then… and this is now.
The super producer/singer/songwriter stopped by the Breakfast Club radio show this morning (April 3, 2013) to discuss working on Jay-Z’s latest project but he also took a moment to throw a bit of shade towards Keyshia Cole.
Nash and Cole have toured together in the past but now he’s apparently feeling some kinda way and speaks in the interview about something that had absolutely nothing to do with him… Cole’s feelings about Beyonce‘s “Bow Down” track (LISTEN).

And since Keyshia is refusing to ‘Bow Down’ (as directed by Beyonce on her newest track), The Dream says he’ll probably never work with her.
Details below…
My friend Twana Tells brought The Dream’s recent interview to my attention, where when asked about Keyshia’s stance on the track, he states, he won’t be working with Cole.
Right now because of what happened I can?t and I think she would respect why I can?t.
That?s (Beyonce) my family. Your talking about my family and you can?t do that.
As far as his thoughts on Beyonce?s Bow Dow record, Nash says he feels that Queen B has a right to tell all you “B*tches” to “Bow Down,” stating:
I think she said exactly what she wanted to say.
I think when you?re at the top and you?re a pop icon of this culture I mean she got something off her chest that she wanted to get off.

I dunno about y’all but I’m still riding with Keyshia on this one. Queen B telling all you “b*tches” to bow down just totally and completely negates all of the pro-feminist mumbo jumbo that she’s been spewing for all these years.
What happened to all that girl power… independent women… and we run the world stuff of days gone by? So now that Queen Bey has Blue Ivy all the rest of y’all are “b*tches”? It’s ok for the “Queen” to call you a ‘b*tch’ but Lil Wayne & nem can’t? I’m confused.
Oh well… life goes on and there are a gazillion other producers in the world so there’s probably not much love lost between Keyshia and The Dream anyway.
**Update 4/3/13 7:20pm: Keyshia responded to news of The Dream’s comments with the following statement via Twitter:
Dream not writing any songs for me is fine… Im on my 6th album… He’s only wrote 1 song on 1 of my albums, which i did love, God Bless
