I don’t know if you’ve heard, but Winfrey was in Atlanta last week and was spotted at the CNN center attempting to grab lunch.? I’m still not sure what she was doing in town and am kinda pissed that she didn’t call me, but Miss O will be back in the “A” soon enough.
Just last year, FLOTUS Michelle Obama addressed graduates of Spelman Collage (click HERE if you missed that) and now Winfrey has been officially been confirmed to deliver the commencement speech to graduating class of 2012.

These days colleges and universities are going all out to get high profile names to hit the stage during their commencement ceremonies and billionaire Oprah Winfrey is tops on the list for many.
According to the AJC, Winfrey, has accepted the invitation to give Spelman College?s 2012 commencement address:
The ceremony will be held May 20 at the Georgia International Convention Center. About 550 students are expected to graduate.
Winfrey, the multimedia mogul, has strong ties to Spelman, which is one of the nation’s top liberal arts schools and the oldest historically black college for women. She received an honorary degree from the school in 1993 and this year will receive the college’s National Community Service Award.
Winfrey has long appeared on Spelman students’ wish lists for commencement speakers. First lady Michelle Obama was last year’s speaker.
