Kandi Burruss’ new single “Haven’t Loved Right” is a strong ballad sung with a ton of emotion.
The song is written and dedicated to dedicated to the loving memory of Kandi’s ex-fiance, AJ Jewell, who died last year after a brawl in the parking lot of a club he owned.
The Real “Housewife” of Atlanta discussed the song and her emotional ties to it during her Kandi Koated Listening Session a few weeks ago and as I listened to it then, I knew she felt the words as she belted out the hook while we all sat stunned.
