When Keeping it REAL Goes Wrong! Kandi Burruss Promotes KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN (KFC) for Bravo… (VIDEO)

NEWSFLASH!!! Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is now the koon kween of Bravo!

After OG Nene Leakes unceremoniously bowed out after claiming the network was racist and filled with yt supremacy, it seems that Kandi has snatched the crown and is doing whatever it takes to make the boss men happy.

The popular “housewife” has amassed a fortune by going along to get along, and now it seems that many are giving her the side-eye on this latest Bravo venture, which includes promoting a well-known racial stereotype.

Listen… I know it’s been a while since I’ve typed on this site, but I just couldn’t stand by without documenting this bullshhhhhh

Kandi is always chasing a bag… and this time, she’s included her son ACE in the shenanigans as she promotes Kentucky Friend Chicken nuggets for Bravo. *sigh*

If you recall, Kandi went on a whole media tour last season, claiming that her love of chicken is what squashed the beef between her and Marlo Hampton (click HERE if you missed that).

I cringed then… and I’m cringing now!

Listen… we all eat chicken, but the racist tropes associated with chicken and black people have not dissipated and many have been blasted on social media for encouraging the tomfoolery.

Why isn’t this any different?

Kandi is a business woman who owns several restaurants…one of which “specializes” in soul food. It begs the question, why is she promoting “the colonel” when she could be promoting OLG?

All money isn’t good money…. but if she likes it, I love it! And I’m sure Bravo is loving seeing “the Blacks” promote chicken on their good ol’ boy network.

Maybe I’m reading too much into it… but after reading Nene Leakes’ court documents, hearing Kim Zolciak-Bierman claim that racism never existed before social media, and recalling how Kandi was dubbed ‘Kandi Krews’ by some of her cast mates, it’s looking a bit Auntie Tomish.

What are your thoughts about Kandi promoting Kentucky Fried Chicken for Bravo?
