If you recall, Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker have taken on a huge construction project for their new ‘Old Lady Gang’ restaurant and apparently a few contractors who worked on the spot are now claiming?to have been stiffed of thousands of dollars in payments for services rendered.

Details below…

On the last season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker recruited Mama Joyce, Aunt Nora and Aunt Bertha to run their new restaurant Old Lady Gang.

Kandi purchased a building in downtown Atlanta to make her husband’s dream a reality and now it’s turning into a nightmare as contractor’s are hounding them for payment.

It’s now being reported that at least two construction workers are claiming they’ve yet to be paid for their services and the damages amount to over $22,000!

According to the?Daily Mail, a carpenter is claiming he is owed over?$16,000 and that includes fraudulent checks he received from the?general contractor in charge of Kandi & Todd’s project.

Additionally, an HVAC contractor is claiming that he’s also owed over?$5,000 for his services.

The two workers say they have still not been paid for construction done on the ‘Old Lady Gang’ southern cuisine restaurant.

For the record, Todd posts photos of the progress online, but the the eatery is still not up & running…

The restaurant was originally scheduled to open February 2016, but things haven’t quite gone as planned with the construction.

Kandi and Todd have reportedly been hit with at least one lien for $16,512 by a carpenter named?Charles Busbee?who says he was scheduled to be paid by June 30th, but hasn’t received a dime.

“I have spoken with you on numerous occasions since you wrote the three (3) checks, and I have received only empty promises to match my empty pockets,” Busbee wrote to the General Contractor.

Busbee claims the general contractor hired by the couple to manage the renovation of their new restaurant issued fraudulent checks.?Writing fraudulent checks is a felony in Georgia and Busbee is demanding he be paid immediately or he will have to take further action.

The HVAC contractor, identified as?Tyrone Manuel, says he was supposed to be paid by the end of August, but hasn’t received anything either.

The grand total for both liens comes to $21,878.

While neither Kandi nor Todd have issued an official comment on the matter, the popular housewife hit the tweets a few days ago to vent her frustrations…
