Kid Cudi Says Depression & Suicidal Thoughts Forced Him To Check Into Rehab…

Rapper Kid Cudi has reportedly checked himself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges after posting a message to fans stating, “I am not at peace.”

Cudi revealed in his post that he’s been dealing with anxiety and depression throughout his life but managed to hid his illness by isolating himself.

My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it. I cant make new friends because of it. I dont trust anyone because of it and Im tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace.

Fortunately, Kid Cudi has now chosen the path to recovery and shared his story in a recent Facebook post.

Details below…

Kid Cudi hit Facebook last night to share his struggle with depression and admit that he has issues that require professional assistance.

If I didn’t come here, I wouldve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life. Theres a ragin violent storm inside of my heart at all times.

He also wrote that he didn’t know what “peace feels like” or how to relax.

The rap star also apologized several times in his post, and reveals that he’s dealing with his problems by heading to rehab.

I”m scared, im sad, I feel like I let a lot of people down and again, Im sorry. Its time I fix me. Im nervous but ima get through this.

He also ditched the ‘Kid Cudi’ moniker… signing the heartfelt post with his birth name, Scott Mescudi.

I admire Kid Cudi for dealing with his problems head on because there are so many people these days who choose to ‘self medicate’ to avoid what’s really bothering them.? Transparency is the key to healing.
