The academy award winning actress/comedienne hit the set of ‘The Preachers’ recently, alongside her husband, Producer Sidney Hicks and they both shared their thoughts about why being ‘open’ with your spouse has it’s benefits.

VIDEO: Mo?Nique Shares Her Secret to Making An Open Marriage Work
Mo’Nique and Sidney Hicks have been married for 10 years and share twin sons, so clearly their relationship is working for them.
When asked about the relationship arrangement, the couple says their ‘atypical’ partnership simply means they have an open understanding for one another.
Mo’nique has stated time and time again that the arrangement she has with her hubby was totally her idea and she reiterates this again on the show, stating:
“When we first came out with it, everybody said, ‘Oh my God, how could Mo’Nique let that man do that to her’ … It was my idea,” Mo’Nique said on “The Preachers” with her husband.
On the flip side, Hicks said he’s totally on-board with the lifestyle choice and insists he?s not the controlling type, stating, ?Who am I to tell her what she can and cannot do? Or who!?
