Mama I want to sing…

Arianne has been playing the sidekick for quite a while now, but now… she wants to sing!

With Mimi tied up with Stevie J and his fake marital drama, it seems that now is the perfect time for Ariane to step out on her own with a ‘new crew’.

This week, she has her very own scene with D. Smith and Betty Boop Idol as they meet in the studio to discuss her music career.

She explains Smith about how she once auditioned for K. Whasserface (who supposedly has an A&R deal to sign new talent) and how Whasserface only wanted her to be a background singer and she wasn’t feeling that.

Ariana also admits she wasn’t feeling K. Whasserface’s energy and that D. Smith and Betty Boop Idol seemed much more stable.

Now she’s decided to spread her wings and FLY with D. Smith & ‘nem to help produce her new music. ?If you’re hoping to get a lil sample of Ariane’s singing this episode, don’t hold your breath! She doesn’t… I guess they’re saving that for the reunion.

Lock down…

Scrapp gets way too much camera time as he says his ‘final goodbyes’ to his family as he prepares to leave for prison.

It seems every week?he’s saying goodbye, but perhaps this week is the ‘FINAL’ one since it’s also the time of the episode.

Scrapp sheds his long luxurious locks in preparation for his 5 year ‘vacation’ ?and his emotional little brother shoots it from his phone.

[Sidebar: Scrapp?was sentenced to at least five years in prison for trafficking marijuana back in 2014.?He entered prison March 15.]

He also?spends a bit of family time with his 3 year-old son, who sheds a single tear on camera as Scrapp tells him he’s going away for ‘doing something bad’.

He doesn?t say how long, but Young Scrapp is clearly smarter that the average 3 year-old and?senses that it’s not?just a weekend get-away.

The entire family gets together for Scapps final night of freedom. Mama Karen ‘KK’ King says in confessional that she’s happy that her son is getting an opportunity to spend quality time with his son.

The Kings also pray for strength during this trying time and Scrapp states, ?My faith will keep me strong.?

No R.I.P. (Reckless Internet Postings)…

The surge in ‘reckless’ activity on the internet was a key factor in Deb Antney’s son suicide and she started a ‘NO R.I.P.’ campaign?to honor him and cause awareness to the issue.

This week, Antey continues her?crusade and she hopes to get the transgender community involved by enlisting D. Smith to speak on her panel.

In her quest, it’s obvious that she’s also playing peacemaker in the battle that was brewing between her daughter in-law Tammy Rivera and Smith that was sparked by Waka Flocka?s controversial Caitlyn Jenner comments last year… (he called Jenner ?evil? and said she was ?rebuking God?).

D. Smith and Deb get in a heated debate that ends with Smith choosing NOT to participate in the panel, however she shows up anyway as an audience member and chooses to cause chaos at the event by confronting Tammy while she sat on the panel with a question about Waka’s comments about the transgender community.

Tammy says she felt her husband was merely expressing an opinion and not being hateful and also says that she has a hard time explaining transgender to her little kids who don?t even know yet about sex.

?Transgender has nothing to do with sexuality,? D Smith says. ?It has nothing to do with sex. It has to do with the soul.? .

Tammy goes on to say that D. Smith was being a bit insensitive by blaming her for words WAKA said, stating:

As a woman, I felt attacked because of an opinion my husband had.

She says her husband simply doesn?t agree with the transgender ?lifestyle?… (nor does he have to).

The segment ends with D. Smith slaming her hand on the podium and D. Smith exiting stage left as security looks on.

Whose the daddy??

Last week, Stevie decided to crash at Mimi’s pad while he’s working out his issues with Joseline, but it appears he’s hoping to stay!

We see Mimi & Stevie sharing a heart to heart about Joseline’s bleaching his clothes and going crazy on him after accusing him of?having several new babies running around.

[Sidebar: I guess Faith Evans didn’t fit in the storyline since when the clothes were bleached they were filming their spin-off and at that time Joseline was pretending to be jealous about THAT… click here to refresh your memory. ]

Meanwhile, Stevie adamantly denies that the has any new kids… (but that’s not what the streets are saying):

For whatever reason, Mimi decides to get caught up in the Stevie J and Joseline drama and now she’s is angry about finding out about the new kid (or kids). But why??

Next week, Mimi plays ‘Maury’ as she provides a DNA test to all involved.
