RECAP: Love & Hip Hop Atlanta S5, Ep8 ‘Common Ground’… (VIDEO) #LHHATL

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta aired the 8th episode of it’s 5th season last night (May 23, 2016).

In the previously-aired episode, fans saw Mimi and Chris breaking up over Stevie. Faust’s galpal apparently felt there was still some lingering feeling between the former couple, so she told Mimi to figure out what that was before they move forward in their relationship.

Who’s screwing who this week?

As you know, it was Joseline’s tendency to stir up drama (and her reunion with Dawn) that caused Stevie to walk out & ask Mimi if he could crash at her place.

The whole situation caused Mimi’s relationship to crumble as well and while Chris walked away from the situation in a dignified manner, we all know that a divorce might not bring out the best in Joseline.

I’m thinking that this is all just another set up to bring Stevie & Mimi back together (again) even though Joseline is seen on an upcoming teaser revealing that Stevie has been put on child support by his latest baby mama.

Despite Stevie J’s ongoing love triangle, there are several other’s popping up…

Karlie Redd has set her sights on Scrapp since Lyfe isn’t returning her phone calls.

J. Nicks has set his sights on Scrapp’s baby mama Tiarra.

Yung Joc has set his sights on J. Nicks’ stripper girlfriend but he’s trying to honor the ‘bro code.’

Jessica Dime has decided to give Lil Scrappy a try even though she’s had beef with Bambi.

Basic b*tches battle…

Meanwhile, K. Whasserface is back in the city with similar hopes as the Puerto Rican princess… i.e. REVENGE. She has invited all her enemies and friends to her album listening party but no one actually cares to listen to the album.

At the ‘event,’ Bambi has a run-in with D Smith and Betty Idol. As you know, Bambi previously beefed with Idol but this time, the fight that ensues seems to be between Bambi and D Smith.

Are we still yelling & screaming in the club in 2016?? *sigh* Why ask why? It’s all irrelevant anyway.

For the kid’s sake…

Scrapp learns in episode 8 that he will have to spend five years in prison. While he recently got physical with Karlie Redd, he invited Tommie over for a close-knit family gathering to inform the sad news.

KK is forced to put her hard feelings on the back burner since Scrapp revealed that he’s headed to prison to serve a 5 year bid and he needs his mom to step in and help his baby mama with the child while he’s gone.

Ok… for the record, Karen ‘KK’ King has made it quite clear that she doesn’t see it for her son’s baby mama Tiarra.

If you recall, Tiarra, KK revealed that it was Tiarra who ‘snitched’ on her when she was on the run for aggravated assault.

While KK attempts?to play nice and meet with Tiarra, things don’t go as planned and it seems that they might have to enlist Iyanla Vanzant to ‘Fix it’ between them.
