WATCH THIS! Gabrielle Union: #WhoIsStacyDash + Stacy Dash Demands Apology…

Actress Gabrielle Union threw a ton of shade at Stacy Dash during a recent interview and I loved every minute of it!

Union, the star of BET’s? ‘Being Mary Jane,’ was asked at the Sundance Film Festival to respond to Dash’s comments that BET and Black History Month should not exist.? Her response was CLASSIC, stating… “Who’s that? Who’s Stacey Dash?”

?Is she like related to Dame Dash? Was she on Roc-A-Fella?? Union joked. ?I heard of a crazy lady once, but I don?t know what her name is.?

More details + in case you missed it, watch the video below…

Dash caught a ton of flack for comments she stated on Fox News last week regarding BET and Black History Month, where she stated:

?Either we want to have segregation or integration, and if we don?t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you?re only awarded if you?re black. If it were the other way around, we?d be up in arms. It?s a double standard.?

The former Clueless star added ?there shouldn?t be a Black History Month. We?re Americans, period. That?s it.?

As the star of BET’s highest rated show to date, I would say that Gabrielle Union was the perfect spokesperson to Blast Ms. Dash’s comments about the network and Union totally came through when asked about the situation.

If you don?t see yourself reflected in mainstream awards, you tend to create your own.

?Until there is no longer a need for that, I celebrate the ALMAs [American Latino Media Arts Awards], the same way I celebrate the Country Music Awards, and the same way I celebrate the BET Awards and the Image Awards, which we?ll all be at in a couple of weeks. The more that we focus on inclusion and a true representation of this country, I think that crazy lady will have less to say.

Union was at Sundance this week to promote The Birth of a Nation, Nate Parker?s drama about the famed slave rebellion led by Nat Turner in 1831. The film was purchased by Fox Searchlight for $17.5 million and is expected to arrive in theaters this year.

On a related note, Dash recently wrote a blog post demanding an apology for being dragged online and off about her BET/Black history comments and she drags actor Morgan Freeman down with her by pulling out an old 60 minutes interview where he denounces Black History Month.

When I spoke out on Fox News and on my blog about the need to get rid of BET and Black History Month, all the same usual Twitter haters came out of the woodwork to troll me and say all sorts of disgusting things about me.

Well, if you?re going to call me ignorant, stupid, and an Uncle Tom, you need to be intellectually honest and also call out Morgan Freeman.

Dash states:

Damn straight, Morgan Freeman! PREACH IT!

It?s time we decide as a society whether we want to care about race or not. Like Morgan Freeman says, there is no White History Month and there should be no Black History Month. Black history IS American history.

We all have names that have nothing to do with our race. And the reason America is the best country in the world is because our national identity isn?t based on race, religion, or class. It?s based on principles like all men and women being created equal and everyone having the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Dash asks her online critics, “You want racial healing and?reconciliation? You want true equality?” and advises them to “Listen to Morgan Freeman ? Stop. Talking. About. Race.”

Like I said? so when do the Twitter trolls apologize to me?

I?ll wait right here.

What do you think about this situation?

Do you agree with Gabrielle Union?

Is Stacy Dash a ‘crazy lady’ or does she deserve an apology?
