It’s probably the worst week ever for Nick Gordon, the estranged fake brother/husband of Bobbi Krisinta Brown.
With a multi-million dollar lawsuit hanging over his head, Gordon is now also facing possible criminal charges as the Fulton County District Attorney reviews the investigative file on the accident that caused Bobbi Kristina’s medical predicament.
(As if we didn’t see this coming… SMH)
This news comes on the heels of Bobbi Kristina being placed into hospice care yesterday, as the family awaits the inevitable after reportedly deciding to cease medications that would sustain her life.
Bobbi Kristina’s condition is reportedly worsening and it’s apparent that Nick Gordon will bear the brunt of any and all legal remedies available (civil and/or criminal) to take responsibility for her death.
Details about Gordon’s latest legal situation below…
The Roswell Police Department confirmed they’ve turned over all of their investigative files on Bobbi Kristina Brown to the district attorney, who will determine whether any criminal charges will be filed after her death.
DA Howard said in his statement that his office will be “reviewing the case with greater interest” in light of new circumstances regarding her health.
He also revealed that an announcement on charges, if any, would be made at ?the appropriate time.?
The lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina’s estate against Nick Gordon listed several explosive allegations against him that could also be used in the criminal case.
The suit claims Gordon ?caused, among other things, substantial bodily harm? to Bobbi Kristina and court documents also reveal that Gordon fraudulently portrayed himself as both Bobbi Kristina’s ‘brother’ and then after her inheritance, he switched to ‘boyfriend’ and then lied about being married in order to control her funds.
The suit alleges that Nick is the sole cause of Bobbi Kristina’s demise and legal documents state the following:
?Defendant has held himself out as having several different relationships with Brown at various times. Prior to 2012, Defendant held himself out to be Brown?s surrogate ?brother.? Then, after 2012, when Brown inherited a substantial sum, Defendant assumed the position of Brown?s boyfriend. On or around Jan. 9, 2014 Defendant perpetuated the fraud that he had married Brown, though in fact he never did so.
?The misrepresentation that Defendant was Brown?s ?husband? was used to control Brown and limit with whom she could interact. For example, Defendant often answered Brown?s personal cell phone, would not allow her to make appointments without his approval, and manipulated her bank relationship so that he could access her money. This was all part of a scheme to benefit from her wealth.
?In fact, Defendant acted on this scheme by routinely transferring a large portion of Brown?s funds into an account controlled solely by him, without the consent or authorization of Brown.
?Defendant then began questioning Brown?s access to trust assets and threatening one of the trustees with guns and other violent weapons. On April 14, 2014, this Court issued a restraining and/or protective order against Defendant.?
?Defendant also began to commit domestic violence on Brown, including punching her in the face, knocking out a front tooth and dragging her upstairs by her hair.
?Just prior to Jan. 31, Brown had confided to someone that Defendant was not the man she thought he was and set up a time on Jan. 31 to meet with this person to further discuss this revelation. Brown, however, never made it to the meeting. Instead, on the morning of Jan. 31, Brown became embroiled in a loud argument with Defendant at her townhome. The loud argument ended and Brown was later found unresponsive and unconscious, face down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out.?
?As a direct and proximate result of Defendant?s conduct, Brown has suffered life threatening bodily harm and damages.?
?Brown has suffered substantial physical bodily harm, including loss of teeth, pain and suffering, and trauma that has required medical treatment as a direct consequence of Defendant?s physical abuse.” (source)
The lawsuit seeks ?at least $10 million” in damages from Bobbi Kristina’s former live-in love. Sadly no amount of money (if he even had it) would bring her back, but I guess it’s easier to accept her death if there’s someone to blame.
The saga continues. Stay tuned…
