Old school R&B Diva Cheryl Lynn is apparently backtracking this week after all the backlash received from her ‘twitter beef’ with Anita Baker.

Well now Cheryl is separating herself from the drama, claiming that she’s the victim of a twitter impostor!
Cheryl Lynn does not have a Twitter or Facebook account. The individual sending the communications is an imposter pretending to be Cheryl Lynn.
Twitter has been made aware of this situation several time over the last two years. Careful scrutiny of the tweets reveals it is not a verified account.
ONE… I wouldn’t expect Cheryl Lynn to have a ‘verified account’ anyway…
TWO… the ‘fraudulent’ account was dedicated to promoted Cheryl Lynn’s upcoming CD ‘Duets with Divas’…
THREE… the account, real or fake, was indeed blocked by Anita Baker…
and FOUR… how do you know Lynn’s manager is really her manager??
The account has since been suspended by twitter but you can probably expect a ‘verified’ account to emerge soon. In fact, this entire manufactured drama was probably all constructed to get Cheryl Lynn a blue check mark (as if anyone actually cares).
