It was just a few months ago that it was revealed that OWN had greenlit a series based around Jay Williams, the father of 34 that aired his dirty laundry on Iyanly Vanzant’s ‘Fix My Life’ last year.

Well word on the curb is that it Williams’ show, which features several of his kids, may be canned after weeks of taping around Atlanta… all due to his erratic attitude and out of control spending.

The show, which never received a working title, was meant to showcase the ‘redemption’ of Williams, who had been an absentee father for most of his 34 kids’ lives.

But apparently Williams has gone ‘Hollywood’ and has been making excessive demands. A source states that Williams even told one producer…. ‘I got the highest ratings ever for OWN, they should give me whatever I want!’
Williams, along with several of his kids have been posted up in the Marquis Midtown luxury apartments in Atlanta, but the adult kids have been told to pack up and go home after their father’s antics finally got a bit too much for the staff.
The father of 34, who happens to be in the music industry, has reportedly used his new platform to ‘floss’ with his celebrity friends, it’s rumored that The Game and even rapper T.I. have taped scenes for the show.
I’ve heard that Williams got into a violent confrontation with one of the show’s producers, after being told that he was veering too far away from the show’s premise of ‘redemption’ for he and his kids and focusing more on his career moves with his celebrity friends.
Williams has even got into a verbal altercation with Iyanla, who popped in to ensure things were moving along as planned!
[Sidebar: I’m not sure what their fight was about but it’s possible that Vanzant feels some kinda way about Williams father yet another child! I’ve heard that the ‘father of 34’ is about to be the ‘father of 35’ since one of the baby mamas who appeared on the show is pregnant with yet another one of his kids. *sigh*]
It seems OWN’s ‘baby daddy’ show may be scrapped for good, since everyone is being sent home. The kids, production staff… everyone! But who knows? They’ve got several weeks of footage so they may have enough to make a story… then again, it may be like Shawty Lo’s baby mama show and never see the light of day.
