Kanye West hit the stage for the crowd raising closing act of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards last night (May 17, 2015) but the performance didn’t seem to go quite as planned.
Many predicted West’s performance would be the ‘most talked about’ set of the evening as he was scheduled to perform at least two of his hit songs.
Kanye, who was introduced by his two sister’s in-law, Kyle & Kendall Jenner, performed his latest single “All Day” and “Black Skinhead,” off Yeezus, complete with sparks, flames, dancing, and everything you’d expect from the superstar…. yet there were several issues.
First, smoke from the onstage flames prevented the television viewing audience from even SEEING Ye, (who slayed onstage along with Allan Kingdom and Theophilus London, and then performed his?Yeezus?cut solo).
Second, and most importantly, the television audience couldn’t HEAR most of the performance since ABC ended up bleeping out about 75% of it.

Oddly enough, Kanye’s Billboard performance ‘fail’ still made him the most talked about performance of the evening. So I guess it’s a ‘win’ for him…
