As Bobbi Kristina Brown remains unconscious in an Atlanta area hospital another one of her family members is attempting to benefit from her dire situation.

Jerod Brown, Bobby Brown‘s nephew, recently asked the world to support his new tribute song?based off the popular social media hashtag #PrayforBK.
Jerod sent the song out via social media, claiming that all proceeds would be going to Martin Luther King Jr’s ‘Be A King’ Foundation…
Welp… the opportunistic artist may have got his song out there on the heels of Krissi’s tragedy, but he also got blasted by a representative of the King family for lying!
Details + video below…
Herod Brown aka YF Kennedy posted the following online…
His song ?called #Pray4BK opens and closes with recorded telephone conversations between Jerod and Bobbi Kristina and also addresses Bobby Brown’s request for family not to speak to media, as he sings:
?I never thought that it would come to this/Speaking on behalf of my cousin Kris,” and “While she?s alive, I?m praying to the skies, and for that I don?t need your permission…?

Many began to comment about Jerod’s ‘inspirational piece.’ It seemed admirable enough right? But it was his charitable ambitions and claims that any proceeds from the song would go towards MLK’s ‘Be a King’ foundation that drew concern and criticism. Some even began to question it’s legitimacy…
As you can see… Brown assured everyone that his statement was on the up and up… but he eventually got blasted by Tricia Harris, who?is someone who works very closely with the King Family…
Brown then edited his original post and deleted any reference to proceeds going to the King’s organization, but he had already been blasted and people were on to him…
After several inquiries, Tricia Harris returned to the original post to confirm that the proceeds were definitely NOT going to any King entity… and to prove her affiliation to the King Family by providing a link to her linkedin profile.
Jerod Brown never responded after he was outed for lying… but he continues to promote his music online.
