The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s 7th season is guaranteed to be way more explosive than ever and it seems that they will be targeting a younger demographic by testing out Demetria McKinney & Claudia Jordan.
As I reported months ago, all of the previous cast members were invited back for season 7 but all of the drama surrounding Apollo Nida’s legal issues will have Phaedra Parks filming in a limited capacity (click here if you missed that).
Kenya Moore is still on the outs with many of the ladies and her recent stunt at Bar One didn’t help her standing with the crew…

Moore needs friends on the show and both Claudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney need more exposure.

McKinney is best known for her role in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne but we’ve all noticed her presence on the social scene in Atlanta as well.
Atlanta nightlife has it’s privileges and McKinney’s dedication and commitment to the cause landed herself a major sponsor!
It was hard not to notice how Demetria went from changing her hair color every week to hiring a stylist and hosting listening sessions.? She also began to get a few better placed photo ops after changing her look.
With her new boo’s money & influence in her corner, it wasn’t hard to pull some strings with RHOA producers so she’s began filming even though she wasn’t a ‘real life’ friend to any of the cast members.

She’s also a graduate of the Kenya Moore school of hard knocks and is no stranger to doing whatever it takes to get exposure.
If you recall, Jordan was once boo’d up with Benzino (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta) and she even appeared in his music video.

She’s also connected to Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle and attempted to be the gossip guru on a few episodes of ‘Tiny Tonight’ .
[Sidebar: Jordan was dry as hell on that show and from what I’ve heard, she’s dry as hell on the radio.? But that’s none of my business.]
Both Demetria and Claudia were spotted at Bar One during Cynthia Bailey’s Ebony Magazine celebration (click HERE if you missed that) and I spotted them both filming with Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia but didn’t pay them much attention.
Claudia was also spotted partying at Compound for Todd Tucker’s birthday celebration.
Demetria and Claudia have both been running around town telling people that they are the ‘new’ Atlanta housewives and Demetria has even revealed to friends that her ‘sponsor’ Roger Bobb has filmed a few scenes with her and they even ‘kissed on camera’… but my sources reveal that neither of them have been offered contracts yet.
‘Both women are single (i.e. unmarried) which isn’t an issue considering Kenya Moore is also considered a ‘housewife’ by Bravo’s standards.
That being said… YES it’s true that the two ladies have been mixing and mingling with the existing RHOA cast but for now that’s all it is. Free work for free exposure.
