T-Boz of ‘TLC’ Shades Rihanna For Too Much ‘Skin’ + RihRih Responds w/Twitter Beef… [VIDEO]

Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of the popular 90s group, TLC, made an appearance Thursday on Australia’s Sunrise 7 and slammed female artists today who use ‘sex” and nudity to sell their images.

“Every time I see you, you don’t have to be naked,” T-Boz, 44, said of no one in particular, but apparently the interviewer felt she was speaking of Rihanna, who just recently donned a barely there ensemble at the CFDA awards.

T-Boz went on the explain in the interview:

“It’s hard for us to say anything because anytime we do, they say, ‘Oh TLC must be jealous,’ but I call a spade a spade.”

“We became the biggest girl selling group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot,” she added.

In response to TLC’s criticism that Rihanna appears nude too often, the songstress changed her Twitter header image to a topless photo of TLC.

Rihanna’s response was apparently to prove that the “No Scrubs” singers had also stripped down at one point in time.

RihRIh also added a little shade of her own, stating:

“When there’s no changing the fact that I’m me, and they’re well…they’re them,” she tweeted with a pic of herself sticking her tongue out.

T.Boz got wind of the ‘twitter beef’ and immediately tweeted that she wasn’t trying to throw shade, stating…

Then after seeing the full interview herself, T.Boz blamed the press for ‘piecing together’ the interview…

Whatever the case, Rihanna has since deleted her twitter roast and life goes on. In the meantime, Rihanna is still a ‘style icon’ and TLC is continuing to renew their music career with sold out performances in Australia.
