Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is a mainstay on the popular reality show, but we all know she has quite a few ‘side-gigs’ which most recently includes Cirque du Soleil Zumanity.
While I’ve told you guys time and time again that each and every one of the ladies were invited back for the 7th season of RHOA, rumor mills have been swirling that Nene was fired and/or departing the show on her own.
I haven’t paid too much attention to all the chatter because my sources are pretty solid, but the outspoken ‘housewife’ shared a tweet earlier today that gives the impression that she could be considering making a move.

Nene shared a few behind the scenes photos online of her latest gig as?”Mistress of Sensuality,” for Cirque du Soleil Zumanity.? Leakes poses with fellow performers in the sexy shots and revealed to US Magazine:
“I just came from DWTS and we wore a lot of risque things, so I’m definitely okay with risque?I’m more excited than scared!?
The 46-year-old will be a part of the experience for an exclusive 10-show engagement from June 27-July 1, marking the first time Cirque du Soleil has ever featured a guest performer.
“Who wouldn’t be excited to be a part of Zumanity?!” the Bravo standout tells Us, “If you haven’t seen it, you need to see it because it’s an amazing show. It’s very sexy, it’s over the top, there’s also a little bit of nudity so it’s a little risque?and it’s for adults only?but I’ve gotta tell you it’s a great show and I’m glad that I’m going to be associated with it!”
As for her role as “Mistress of Sensuality,” Leakes gushes,
“I mean who gets to do that?!,” adding that she’s “excited” to play the part.
Considering she’s survived countless cat fights and reunion show brawls, Leakes reassures Us: “I’m not a scared girl to stand in front of an audience and be judged, I get that every single week! So it’s not a problem for me!”

I mentioned Nene ‘quitting’ RHOA for Zumanity tongue in cheek, but the truth of the matter is that she’s actually considering a change.? While I honestly don’t believe she will ever depart RHOA, stranger things have happened.
What I do know for sure is that contracts are being negotiated and each ‘housewife’ from season 6 was invited back from season 7. Period.? Will they ALL return? That remains to be seen, so stay tuned.
