My boo celebrity hairstylist Derek J has been making major moves as one of Bravo TV’s ‘Fashion Queens’.

Derek J appears alongside co-hosts Lawrence Washington and Bevy Smith and the show offers an entertaining perspective on celebrity fashion.

With that being said, this year’s Grammy awards featured a slew of celebrity fashion hits and misses.

I caught up with Derek recently, and he offered StraightFromTheA.com readers a special? review of the best and worse fashions from the 2014 Grammy Awards red carpet.

From Ciara’s golden baby bump to Kevin Hart’s tailored tux, Derek gives you his take on Grammy fashion in the list below…

BEST DRESSED:

Ciara in Pucci

“She looked Fabulous in this sequin gold dress and she wore her best accessory tonight, her baby bump.”

Sarah Highland in Pucci

This black and white number was ultra cute on her, its young and fresh.

Rita Ora in Lanvin

“I’m normally not a fan of the way she looks but she was stunning in this dress.”

Colbie Cailliat in Ezra Santos

“This red gown is gorgeous the detailing on the shoulder and neck is stunning, I also loved the sheer panel that separated the dress from the top piece.”

Kevin Hart in Lanvin

“He looks great in this suit, it’s well fitted and I love the details in the jacket.”

WORST DRESSED LIST:

Casey Musgraves in Armani Priv?

“I was not fond of this nude sheer moment.? There was way to much going on for me.”

Judith Hill in black & white (designer unknown)

“She looks crazy from head to to literally. This black and white frock with her gold shoeties (booties and shoes) was just a mess.”

Sara Barelies in Blue Marine

“She say she was channeling the hunger games and I can tell. ?She looked like she been stranded and fighting on a island.”

Katy Perry in Valentino

“I hate this dress.? It looks like she is walking through the mist.”

Paula Patton

“Just cause she on a role with looking a mess. ?I think it just been her goal this month.”
