Rap rumors have once again surfaced that rapper-turnt-pastor Mason Betha is returning to the rap game.

I don’t know how these rap rumors get started but apparently Drizzy Drake, the poet of the pulpit, is at the center of innuendo and gossip that has many rap heads pumpin their fists for the former BadBoy MC’s return.

The buzz first started back in June 2009 when Ma$e appeared on Drizzy’s “Best I Ever Had”single. Around that time, Rapper Cam’ron confirmed the rumors (whatever that’s worth).
Then Drake showed love earlier this month, when he invited Puffy and Ma$e to come together in Toronto for his OVO music fest (click HERE if you missed that), it was the first time the pair had performed together in almost 9 years.

Drizzy talked to the media recently about the possibility of working with the once chart topping rapper, stating:
Me and Ma$e have just been talking about what the future holds, about what he wants to do, anything?s possible, man.
I told Ma$e, ?You?re Ma$e at the end of the day so I don?t think you should end up on anybody else?s label.??
I would love to be involved.? Just how I know Kanye takes an interest in Ma$e as well because Mase is the original fly guy that made it all look extremely fun.?
Now comes word that 2 Chainz new album ‘Based On A T.R.U. Story 2: Me Time,” will also feature rap verses from Ma$e.
According to the tracklist, Ma$e will assist 2 Chainz on a song called “Beautiful Pain” with R&B singer Lloyd appears as well. [Vlad TV]
