RECAP: 5 Life Lessons Revealed During Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 2 Finale [WATCH FULL VIDEO]

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta rounded off it’s 2nd season last night with episode 15, the season finale (July 29, 2013).

Here’s the abbreviated version of the events from the show:

Rasheeda and Kirk decide to work on their fake marital problems.

Scrappy goes in to marijuana rehab and comes out as “Darryl”.

Erica didn’t pawn her engagement ring but doesn’t want to get married.

Mimi is adjusting to life with her brand new boobs.

DJ Traci Steel and Babey Drew… *crickets*

Whasserface packs up her fake booty and heads to NYC.

Stevie J. accepts Joseline’s propsal (kinda)…

Life Lesson #1 – Every day is Valentine’s Day with the one you love…

Kirk Frost is on a mission to make amends with his wife Rasheeda and shows up to the house with a truckload of baby gifts and swag.

Because nothing says ?I?m sorry for cheating? like a truck full of cheap gifts.

Rasheeda?s not having it and doesn?t accept his apology but since we already knew this is where the story was headed it really doesn’t matter anyway.

?Do I love him?? she asks, ?Yes, I do. Do I think a separation is where we need to be at at this point? Yes, I do.?

Moving on.

Life Lesson #2 – Change your attitude and you’ll change the world. (Or maybe just change your alias back to your government name).

“I am not ‘Scrappy in this thang, I am DARRYL. Darryl Richardson.”

Scrappy seems to have a weed problem and his stint in rehab for his addiction offers him a bit of clarity on why.

?You, Erica, Shay?y?all got me smokin? heavy,? he tells his mother.

Momma Dee breaks it down for him, stating: ?I hear what you?re saying about the triggers with me, Erica, and Shay, but at the end of the day, we all have a choice to make. No one?s controlling us. We do what we wanna do. You didn?t smoke because of me, Shay, and Erica.?

When Scrappy speaks about his family and tells his mom she needs accept Erica for who she is, Momma Dee reluctantly agrees, stating, ?All right, Darryl.? and he hits her back with ?so chill out, Debra.?

So now Darryl and Momma Debra can address their problems as adults. No more hiding behind stage names. 😆

Life Lesson #3 – Happiness comes in all shapes and sizes…

Mimi invites the girls over to meet her new “girls.”

I don’t know what they looked like before, but apparently MiMi’s boob are finally back up to where they were prior to her 3 years of breastfeeding and she seems happier than she’s ever been before.

Mimi is clearly embracing her new body but did she go under the knife for all the wrong reasons? Only time will tell…

Life Lesson #4 – Move forward and forgive, the past is history…(and so is Karlie Redd)

Benzino, Stevie J and JoJo meet for a drink. Zino has already made amends with Stevie for his ?Smashed Da Homie? video, but now he seeks forgiveness from Joseline, who happens to be the subject of the song and is represented in the video by an unattractive look-alike.

Benzino apologizes and gives Joseline the gift of chocolate. She accepts but reminds Benzino: ?Y?all were supposed to be friends. And you were to respect your friend?s woman.?

All is apparently forgiven and the two kiss and make up.

Life Lesson #5 – A man finds a wife… not vice versa (Proverbs: 18:22)

I know some of y’all think it’s ‘old fashioned’ but pay close attention to Stevie J throughout the episode.? True, he cares for JoJo Dancer, but she seemed to lessen in value in his eyes by begging him for HIS had in marriage.

Stevie even says that Joseline should just “accept the answer” he gave her and stop asking.

During the finale Stevie J. flips the script and invites his baby mama to Joseline’s “proposal” what happened next was pure f*ckery at it’s finest when Stevie J takes Joseline’s ring and then offer’s Mimi one of his own, stating, ‘a small token,’ handing her a similar ring box.

[Sidebar: Notice that Stevie offered MIMI a ring and not vice versa.? He’s still a p.i.m.p. but at least he CHOSE to personally invite Mimi into the “LPG” – “Life Partner Gang.”]

Mimi’s new breasts have substituted for balls as she finds the scenario hilarious, stating, ?Classic Stevie J! Classic!?

Joseline doesn’t think it’s funny and goes in for the kill!? Security holds her back as she swings on Stevie yelling, ?Are you serious? You bitch! After all I do for you!?

The tables have turned and Mimi finally gets the last laugh.? The scene ends with her stating, ?You wanted him, girl. You got him… who’s the ‘MAID’ now?’
