Monami Entertainment, NFGTV and Myx Fusions played host to over 300 Atlanta press and industry insiders, to offer a sneak preview of the Season 2 premiere episode.

Special invited guests packed Cream Ultra Lounge for the session, which included a special Q&A with several LHHATL cast members.
Executive producer Mona Scott-Young, Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez, Mimi Faust, Erica Dixon, Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, Shay Johnson, Momma Dee, and Benzino all joined in on the festivities. Season 2 Newcomers Traci Steele, Babey Drew and Che Mack were also in attendance.

Just FYI, there were three current cast members were unable to attend: Lil Scrappy, Karlie Redd and WhasserFace
Also spotted: DJ Toomp and rapper Shawty Lo.

Ariane Davis & Mimi Faust strike a pose….
I don’t want to give to much away… but ‘WhasserFace’ stuck her tongue down Ariane’s throat during the first episode.? As for Ms. Faust, the opening scene of the season 2 premiere includes her, Stevie J & Joseline sharing a bed.? Confused yet?? Yeah… so am I.
Joseline Hernandez & Stevie J sat in the corner most of the evening…
Ms. Hernandez got a total tongue lashing from Mimi during the event. I was at the rear of the club and all I heard was Mimi screaming about being used to Stevie J’s d*ck.
If you’re wondering about Mimi’s former flame (CLICK HERE if you missed that), well her new boo is apparently history.? While Stevie J is still protecting his “investment” aka Joseline, he’s also still “investing” in Mimi. Word on the curb is that he bought Faust a new ride after making her promise to ditch the new dude… and since he’s out of the picture, one can only assume that Stevie J. got his wish. *sigh*

Rasheeda and her hubby Kirk Frost proudly displayed her growing baby bump!

Rasheeda’s belly ‘popped’ up overnight… literally and while I don’t think she’d pull a ‘Beyonce’… stranger things have happened (like Mr. Joseline and that pregnancy test last season 😆 ).
One thing I know for sure is that Rasheeda and Kirk’s marriage is tight like gnat booty and that scene where he inquires about a blood test is total B.S. and was clearly scripted for shock value.
These two are only in it for the dough… and her pregnancy is definitely a storyline for the two.?? For the record, as beautiful as Rasheeda looks as a pregnant woman, she seemed miserable for some reason.? But since Kirk was overheard joking that he ‘couldn’t make any money off of her’ in her condition, I can only imagine her angst.
Erica Dixon is still showing off her “A”ssets…

Since breaking up with her former fiance Lil Scrappy, Erica has been stacking dough and making moves. The beautiful former video model has even hit the catwalks of NYC.

Having so much access to ‘new money’ put a new vision in Erica and while Scrappy will always be the father of her child, the lights, camera & action of the ‘reality’ show life put such a strain on their relationship that he moved out and she’s moving on.

And yes… she’s back up under Scrappy and Mama Dee has her back.

If last week’s fight between Shay & Erica is any indication, there will be plenty of drama on deck for Scrappy & Mama Dee (who happened to look like brand new money with her face immaculately painted and a head full of the best weave reality show money can buy!)
Season 2 ‘newbies’ DJ Traci Steele and her baby daddy, DJ Baby Drew smile for the cameras….
It was kind of weird seeing these two interact with the current cast.? While Che Mack was tossin’ down shots and partying like it was 1999, Traci and Baby Drew were chillin in the corner looking like they’d just left bible study.? While that’s normally a good thing, I’ve heard that these two haven’t really been incorporated into the story lines of any of the other characters i.e. they’re story will be like a show in itself.
I guess we’ll have to wait & see how it all turns out…. but at least they look happy and cute together.
The No-Shows:
Lil Scrappy was apparently unable to attend and it had absolutely nothing to do with his recent garnishment (click HERE if you missed that). Word on the curb was that his absence was due to unforeseen circumstances… like a parole violation or something of nature.]
Karie Redd reportedly missed her flight into Atlanta.
WhasserFace, who has fought with just about EVERYONE on the cast, was absent as well. No word on why she was a no-show but THIS could possibly have something to do with it.
Randomness:
Frankie (I can’t say her last name cause she might curse me out) aka Keyshia Cole’s bio-mom came through to celebrate also.? Frankie and Mama Dee became fast friends last season but it seems Mama Dee has been separating herself from Frankie’s escapades.
Mama Dee was long gone by the time Frankie hit the dance floor but it was all good, cause I don’t even think Frankie noticed she was gone.
Shawty Lo and ATLien…
Lo aka the rapper who pitched the ‘All My BABY Mamas’ reality show told me that it’s not over yet!? Oxygen may have put a halt to his reality show concept, but Shawty Lo seems to have high hopes that it will be picked up again… soon.

The crowd at Cream Ultra Lounge was a mixture of invited guests and looky loos.
The “media” event turned into a free for all after the cast began popping mollys downing shots and scattering. The poor PR responsible for the event could hardly wrangle them up for them to sit still for interviews but it was entertaining nonetheless.
The 2nd season of ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ premieres Monday, April 22nd at 8pm ET/PT on VH1.
