Sean “Diddy” Combs popular Atlanta eatery Justin?s Restaurant & Bar?on Peachtree opened and closed it’s doors for the final time on Friday (June 8, 2012).
The restaurant, named after Diddy’s 1st born son Justin Combs, opened to much fanfare back in 1998 has faced several challenges in recent years, including an incident where 2 men were shot in the parking lot back in 2010, which stemmed a lawsuit filed by one of the shooting victims.
But even after the shooting, Justin’s was still considered somewhat of an Atlanta “hotspot” and was the among the first stop frequented by tourists.

According to Fornie, they hope to reinvigorate Justin?s and ?make it upscale like it was when we first opened.? With regard to the designer for the project, Fornie says they ?are still in the process of making those decisions.?
The news of the closing was soon confirmed through Bad Boy Entertainment and it was also revealed that all employees had been dismissed and received a severance package.
Today, we received word from a spokesperson for Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group (BBWEG), founded by Combs, confirming rumors that the 14-year-old restaurant will not reopen.
According to the statement, BBWEG closed Justin?s Restaurant in order to pursue ?other business ventures in music, television, fashion, fragrance and spirits.? The company, however, says it is ?actively exploring business opportunities in Atlanta? and promises ?to have a strong presence in the region.? (source)
