Did Tyrese Shade Black Women in “I Gotta Chick” Video? + New Music: “Too Easy” ft. Ludacris

In case you haven’t noticed, Tyrese (aka the love guru) has embarked on a new career. He’s gone from singing to acting to singing again… and now he’s also taken up philosophizing relationship matters.

Tyrese gained a following on twitter behind his profound thoughts and while I’m sure his book has some insightful material, I’m always leery about those who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk.

After Tyrese openly shared details of his baby mama drama online, I guess it’s safe to say we are ALL relationship “experts” in some form or fashion, and being that there’s no better teacher than experience, how can one tell another how to be successful at something they themselves have had no success with?

But I digress… order your copy of Tyrese’s book, How to Get Out of Your Own Way, today.

Tyrese has been in hot water with his female fans over not having enough Black women in his recent video with R. Kelly & Tyga, and he’s oh so unapologetic about his decision…

[Sidebar: So I gather that “non Black” women are “BEST” in Jody’s opinion? *sigh* I think a man with his own book should seriously choose his words a bit more carefully…]

Jody “Black Ty” recently released a song featuring his “Fast Five” castmate, actor/rapper Christoper “Ludacris” Bridges, called “Too Easy” and while it’s way “Too Easy” to allow Tyrese’s self-hating color issues taint my view of his music… I’m not gonna do it.

Not today…

I’ll just bite my tongue and pray Luda talked some sense into Jody Tyrese while they spent time in the studio…
